Epidemiological studies report that in Sicily reside about 30,000 citizens with a diagnosis of chronic hepatitis due to HCV. An early input for D-V polarity is given by a redox gradient probably generated by an asymmetrical distribution of maternal mitochondria (1). Only on the future ventral side, the oxidizing environment induces the expression of the nodal gene, an essential regulator of D-V polarization (2). Concept of virtual machine based high resolution display wall

This paper presents the scalability and hardware dependency problems found in existing solutions in the high resolution display wall domain and proposes a new solution. Authors propose hosting the system that provides the visual content for the display wall inside a virtual machine. In such way any needed configuration of displays and resolutions can be applied to the graphics processing unit simulated by the virtualization system. High power analysis and design of dual-mode channel filters

In this paper, we present two dual-mode channel filter topologies which are able to withstand more than 600 W in Ku-Band. The two different designs (one with elliptical cavities and the other one with rectangular cavities) implement the same transfer function: four order, elliptical response centered in 12 GHz, with 40 MHz bandwidth and two transmission zeros. It is shown that the critical dimensions for the power-handling of these filters are the dimensions of the input-output irises. In this paper, we introduce the concept of recursive least squares graph filters for online topology inference in data networks that are modelled as Causal Graph Processes (CGP). A Causal Graph Process (CGP) is an auto regressive process in the time series associated to different variables, and whose coefficients are the so-called graph filters, which are matrix polynomials with different orders of the graph adjacency matrix. Re-examining the migration–trade link using province data: An application of the generalized propensity score

Abstract The migration–trade link has been studied extensively since the mid nineties, finding a positive impact through different channels. Based on the generalized propensity score (GPS) methodology, we estimate a dose–response function, depicting a non-linear impact of immigration on exports using province data for Spain and Italy. For both countries the response of province exports to more immigrants from a given nationality is always positive, although varies with the level of immigrants.
