The 2010/2011 report was produced under the auspices of the national research programme „National Identity”. The job of the report is to survey the content of individual national belonging in the context of human development. The report particularly focuses on emigration issues, because human development is weakened by a reduction in the size of the country’s population. Artykuł prezentuje myśli Tertuliana na temat religii pogańskiej i chrześcijańskiej w Cesarstwie Rzymskim w II w., które zawarł w Apologetyku. W poszczególnych punktach artykułu są prezentowane porównania religii chrześcijańskiej z pogańską. Po przedstawieniu argumentów Tertuliana można stwierdzić, że nawołuje on wszystkich pogan, aby zostali chrześcijanami. Tylko w chrześcijaństwie odnajduje on prawdziwie Boga oraz czystość obyczajów, których nie ma w religiach pogańskich. Dzięki Tertulianowi poznajemy kształtowanie się chrześcijaństwa w dwóch pierwszych wiekach, a także kulty i obyczaje pogan.

W powieści „Einhart der Lächler“ Carl Hauptmann opisuje drogę życiową artysty, która okazuje się poszukiwaniem własnej tożsamości. Carl Hauptmann ubiera swą opowieść w popularną formę powieści edukacyjnej. Droga Einharta prowadzi przez instytucje sztuki, wówczas napiętnowane przez konflikt pomiędzy wykształceniem akademickim artysty a jego kreatywną wolnością. Poniższy tekst koncentruje się na osadzeniu tego napięcia w ramach historycznych. W dalszej części przedstawione zostaną powiązania głównego bohatera z zaprzyjaźnionym z Carlem Hauptmannem malarzem – Otto Muellerem.

A ąuestionnaire on “the essence and goal of a novel” published in 1897 in “Kurier Niedzielny” is an interesting documentation of aesthetic views of writers and literary critics in the late 19th century. Representatives of all literary generations of that time - from pre-positivists through two generations of Polish positivists to Young Poland writers - speak in favor of moderate aestheticism protesting against bias in literaturę and defend the autonomy of an artist. <p>En los últimos años la violencia de género se ha convertido en un problema social de primera magnitud, cobrando especial atención los medios de comunicación por su responsabilidad en la construcción de realidades sociales. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar el tratamiento informativo de la violencia de género y su papel en la construcción de marcos de interpretación que dotan de significado el concepto de violencia de género. Para ello, se ha aplicado el análisis crítico del discurso a las noticias de cuatro televisiones del Estado español en la semana alrededor del Día Internacional contra la Violencia de Género de 2010.</p>
