International audience; The paper presents a flexible method to enrich and populate an existing OWL ontology from XML data based on graph-based rules. These rules are defined in order to populate automatically a new version of an OWL ontology. Today, most of data exchanged between information systems is done with the help of the XML document. Leading researches in the domain of database systems are moving to semantic model in order to store data and its semantics definition. This flexible method consists in populating an existing OWL ontology from XML data. In paper we present such a method based on the definition of a graph which represents rules that drive the populating process.

Archaeological information systems offer methods and tools for representing collected data and performing analyses with which taking into account imperfect data is often hard to please. Our contribution describes the use of several modal logics to model and verify the effects of the consideration of uncertain data, but also to check the quality of a corpus in an in-terdisciplinary collaborative environment. The modelling and the reasoning based on uncertain data, which are studied in this article, are integrated open and extensible platform allowing to manage archaeological data. The extraction of images semantic is a process that requires deep analysis of the image content. It refers to their interpretation from a human point of view. In this lastest case, the image semantic may be generic (e.g., a vehicle) or specific (e.g., a bicycle). Very few causal genes have been identified by quantitative trait loci (QTLs) mapping because of the large size ofQTLs, and most of them were identified thanks to functional links already known with the targeted phenotype.Here we propose to combine selection signature detection, SNP annotation, and expression analyses to identifycausal genes underlying QTLs. As a model, we chose experimental chicken lines divergently selected for onlyone trait, the abdominal fat weight, in which several QTLs were previously mapped.
