Is telephone follow-up useful in preventing post-extraction bleeding in patients on antithrombotic treatment?

Background The aim of the study was to investigate the usefulness of telephone follow-up in preventing post-extraction bleeding and improving wound healing in patients on chronic antithrombotic treatment. Material and methods A prospective randomized clinical trial was carried out on 256 patients (test group = 128; control group = 128). The exact two-tailed Fisher test and the two-tailed non-parametric Mann-Whitney test were used for statistical analysis. Results The incidence of post-extraction bleeding was 15.6% and there was no difference between test and control groups. International audience; Absorption spectra of the infrared ν3 and ν4 bands of CH4 perturbed by N2 over large ranges of pressure and temperature have been measured in the laboratory. A theoretical approach accounting for line mixing is proposed to (successfully) model these experiments. It is similar to that of Pieroni et al. [J Chem Phys 1999;110:7717–32] and is based on state-to-state rotational cross-sections calculated with a semi-classical approach and a few empirical parameters. Onomastic literacy (the skills needed to interpret the cultural and social phenomena and meanings related to name-giving) are part of a person’s cultural capital. I use this concept, which I have developed, to study personal names in family networks and in royal families in particular. This research combines the approaches and methodologies of collective biography, microhistory and the history of mentalities. We consider nonlinear elliptic Dirichlet problems driven by the sum of a p-Laplacian and a Laplacian (a (p,2) -equation). The reaction term at ±∞ is resonant with respect to any variational eigenvalue of the p-Laplacian. We prove two multiplicity theorems for such equations.

This article focuses on the place that proper names originating from rock, or popular music in general, take or could take in dictionaries of proper names. It starts with an overview of onomástica published thus far, revealing a limited interest of Polish researchers in proper nouns related to this form of artistic activity. This discovery prompted the author to share his suggestions regarding such an onomasticon, or even onomástica, where names from popular music and specific categories would take a central place. Within specialized discourse in the Italian language sports journalism communication is certainly one of the richest in anglicisms. This study investigates the influence of English on Italian sports newspaper lexicon with particular reference to the denominations of sports disciplines which are loanwords and calques from English. Przedmiotem artykułu są tzw. przemianki, czyli miana towarzyskie, które zostały wyekscerpowane z opolskiej księgi cechowej garncarzy z lat 1727–1820 znajdującej się w Archiwum Państwowym w O polu. Temat ten jest ważnym uzupełnieniem ustaleń dotyczących polskiej antroponimii, gdyż, jak twierdzą historycy, nazwy te, mające charakter przezwiskowy (np.
