Abstract Background & Aims: Proximal colon from dystrophic mice develops spontaneous tone increment, but the mechanisms involved in its development have not been investigated. This study examined whether alterations in the properties of cell membrane calcium channels and/or sarcoplasmic reticular (SR) Ca 2+ -adenosine triphosphatase (ATPase) contribute to tone development. The 2012 campaign of the archaeological research project permitted the exhaustive excavations of the immediate surroundings of the southern nave of the abbey church of St Peter in Osor. The richness and the complexity of the discovered structures confirmed the great archaeological potential of this sector. Namely, a funeral zone that is situated south to the church is occupied by two buildings perpendicular to the church which we interpret as a mausoleum (the one on the west) and a chapel with one privileged burial (the one on the east). In the 2011 campaign the southern and central apses, as well as the southern nave of the abbey church of St Peter, together with its immediate surroundings were excavated. The primary analysis of the eastern part of the Venetian town wall was undertaken as well. The geophysical survey of the western and south-eastern parts of the complex has equally been continued. The initial results allow us to present a phasing of the early Romanesque church, possibly preceded by two earlier churches, as well as to complete the ground plan thanks to the discovery of the former bell-tower, containing a funerary room (maybe a chapel) in its ground level. Como aportación al mejor conocimiento de la Biblioteca de Osuna, se describen y analizan 22 encuadernaciones artísticas, de estilo neoclásico, que pertenecieron a María Josefa Alonso Pimentel, XV condesa-duquesa de Benavente. Estas visten otros tantos ejemplares que ingresaron en la Biblioteca General de la Universidad de Zaragoza después de que el XII duque de Osuna muriera endeudado y sin herederos y el Ministerio de Fomento comprara la Biblioteca de Osuna. Esta se dispersó entre las diferentes bibliotecas públicas españolas.

Este artículo tiene por objeto reflexionar acerca la relación de las TIC con la condición de discapacidad autista y el acceso a la educación. Así mismo, plantea recomendaciones a la hora de integrar herramientas tecnológicas en el contexto escolar del niño autista, presentando al final un recorrido por software y buscadores apropiados para población infantil autista, los cuales pueden ser incorporados en el aula de clase, y que a su vez podrían ser útiles para otras poblaciones.

First data on the repellent activity of essential oils of Citrus limon towards medfly (Ceratitis capitata)

The biological activity of peel essential oils of two Sicilian cultivars of C. limon, ‘Interdonato’ and ‘Lunario’, was investigated by electrophysiological recordings (EAG) and field trials on Ceratitis capitata (Wiedemann) (Diptera Tephritidae). The EAG data showed a remarkable dose-response relationship and a low activation threshold dose (10-3M) for both essential oil extracts. In field tests, essential oils showed a good repellent and antiovipositional activi- ty on ‘Navelina’ oranges, and in particular the essential oils of ‘Lunario’ pro- vided the same results of kaolin.
