It was reported earlier that a few patients suffering from non-Hodgkin's lymphoma had low amounts of DNA from the so-called fifth human exogenous retrovirus, HRV-5. A sensitive and rational method for large-scale screening for HRV-5 DNA was therefore developed. It is a single-tube nested quantitative PCR (stnQPCR), which uses two functionally isolated primer pairs and one probe target distinct from related endogenous retroviral sequences, yet encompassing known HRV-5 variation, allowing optimal use of sequence conservation. Opioid switching from and to tapentadol extended release in cancer patients: conversion ratio with other opioids

Objectives: The aim of this exploratory study was to assess the conversion ratios between tapentadol and other opioids in patients requiring an opioid switching. Methods: A prospective study was carried out in a convenience sample of consecutive patients admitted to an acute palliative care unit and a home care unit for a period of 1 year. Patients who were switched from/to tapentadol were selected. The initial ratio between tapentadol and other opioids, expressed as oral morphine equivalents was 1:3.3. The subsequent doses were flexible and were changed to fit the patients’ needs. Pain intensity and distress score were recorded until opioid doses were stable. In all, 37 patients were exami…

Tutkielman kirjallisessa osassa käydään läpi yleisesti kiertotaloutta ja metallien osuutta kiertotaloudessa. Lisäksi kirjallisessa osassa keskitytään sähkö- ja elektroniikkaromun kasvavaan määrään ja sen kierrätyksen tärkeyteen sekä kierrätyksen ongelmiin. Työssä käydään läpi yleiset kullan talteenottotavat, hydrometallurgia, pyrometallurgia sekä fysikaalinen ja mekaaninen erottelu, joita on tutkittu sähkö ja elektroniikkaromun kierrätykseen. Myös yleisimmät kullan analysoinnissa käytetyt menetelmät käydään läpi kirjallisen osan loppuvaiheessa. The research was aimed to study Bali bulls fed with Pennisetum purpureum with fermented rice straws substitution in Manokwari Regency, West Papua was conducted experimentally with 12 Bali bulls that have average weight of 176.02±38.35 kg with 2 – 2,5 years old for 5 months duration. The study was designed using complete randomized design of nested pattern with 3 (three) treatments, 4 (four) replications and 4 (four) times weighing, with an assumption that Bali bulls are nested during weighing time. Quantum Finite One-Counter Automata

In this paper the notion of quantum finite one-counter automata (QF1CA) is introduced. Introduction of the notion is similar to that of the 2-way quantum finite state automata in [1]. The well-formedness conditions for the automata are specified ensuring unitarity of evolution. A special kind of QF1CA, called simple, that satisfies the well-formedness conditions is introduced. That allows specify rules for constructing such automata more naturally and simpler than in general case. Possible models of language recognition by QF1CA are considered. The recognition of some languages by QF1CA is shown and compared with recognition by probabilistic counterparts.
A description based on languages of the final non-deterministic automaton

The study of the behaviour of non-deterministic automata has traditionally focused on the languages which can be associated to the different states. Under this interpretation, the different branches that can be taken at every step are ignored. However, we can also take into account the different decisions which can be made at every state, that is, the branches that can be taken, and these decisions might change the possible future behaviour. In this case, the behaviour of the automata can be described with the help of the concept of bisimilarity. 1.juli 2006 ble den Nye Arbeids- og Velferdsforvaltning opprettet. Det er den største omorganisering som er skjedd innen velferdstjenesteområdet i Norge noen gang. 16000 ansatte er involvert og alle landets kommuner blir engasjert i denne. For å få en oversikt over reformen og over området som endres ble denne rapporten laget. Rapporten er derfor en beskrivende rapport både når det gjelder fortid om hvordan de tidligere etatene ble til og fungerte og når det gjelder nåsituasjonen for reformen.
