Recensione al libro di Andrea Pinotti, "Alla soglia dell’immagine" (Einaudi). Attraversando una vasta costellazione di casi che dalla cultura visuale antica arriva ai contemporanei dispositivi immersivi di realtà virtuale, Pinotti propone un’analisi critica di quelle immagini che si caratterizzano per il fatto di negare il loro stesso statuto iconico. Un’an-iconologia, dunque, che intrecciandosi con l’archeologia dei media si pone il problema di quale sia l’effetto di questo duplice movimento del nostro ingresso nel mondo virtuale dell’immagine e di esondazione di elementi del mondo iconico in quello reale.
Komunitas Gastropoda pada Padang Lamun Perairan Pantai Manokwari

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dan menganalisa struktur komunitas gastropoda di pesisir pantai Manokwari. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode transek di dua stasiun pengamatan yaitu Pantai Briosi BLK dan Pantai Rendani. Setiap stasiun diletakkan tiga garis transek ke arah laut dan setiap transek terdiri atas 10 kuadrat. Transek ini diletakkan di atas padang lamun. Analisis data dilakukan meliputi indeks keanekaragaman, indeks keseragaman, dominasi dan kepadatan gastropoda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ditemukan bahwa kualitas perairan di kedua lokasi sampling dapat mendukung pertumbuhan gastropoda. The essay explores the construction aspects of cornices that, from elements of protection, they can also become elements of degradation and instability due to their shape. We would analyze formal and material values of a cornice: it presents complex characters and summarizes problems deriving from construction requirements of building envelope, due to the double value of ornamentation (crowning of building) and functional component (removal system of meteoric water from façade). I argue that apart from its other literary intentions already mentioned by scholars, this digression implicitly connects Titus not only with Aeneas but also with Julius Caesar.
