Kroppslighet og jomfrukur i Hans E. Kincks tragedie: Den Sidste Gjest (1910)

2011

Published version of an article in the journal Nordlit. Also avialble from the publisher:http://www.ub.uit.no/baser/septentrio/index.php/nordlit/article/view/1805. Open Access In his play on Pietro Aretino (1492-1556), the Norwegian dramatist and novelist Hans E. Kinck (1865-1926) focuses on his character's relationship to the body and use of young women, in particular the young girl, Perina. A writer of great repute among his contemporaries Aretino is today known for his letters, plays, scandalous dialogues and pornographic sonnets in which grotesque images of the body are frequent. Kinck turns the Italian letterato both into a tragic victim of his own drives and a ruthless victimizer, alt…

2012

Author's version of a chapter in the book: Poesi postmillennium : Lyrikk i første tiåret av 2000-talet.

2019

How bright are the Nordic Lights? : job quality trends in Nordic countries in a comparative perspective

2017

Nordic countries stand out from the rest of the Europe in terms of job quality. Comparative research literature sought to explain the distinctiveness of Nordic countries with diverse sets of institutional frameworks. However, global competition, technological revolution and deregulation are common developments throughout the industrial world – processes which are seen to erode the meaning of institutions and nation states as protective mechanisms. This dissertation discusses the question on the existence and persistence of the Nordic working life model through the concept of job quality, which are investigated using surveys on working conditions. The study draws from both universal and inst…

Party Positions on Differentiated European Integration in the Nordic Countries: Growing Together, Growing Apart?

2020

The Nordic countries constitute an interesting laboratory for the study of differentiated European Integration. Even though Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden share some historical, cultural, socio-economic and political characteristics, all those countries have ultimately opted for a different kind of relationship with the EU. Whereas Finland, a member of the Eurozone since its inception in 1999, has been considered to be part of the Union’s ‘inner core’ for quite some time, Iceland and Norway, in contrast, have opted to remain outside the EU albeit closely associated via the European Economic Area Agreement. The variation of relationships has also been reflected in Nordic parti…

A Mediterranean versus a Nordic way of coarse vegetable preparation

2015

International audience; The bitter taste might be the main reason for rejection of many vegetables, especially coarse vegetables,. Besides the taste, coarse vegetable intake may also be related to habitual factors such as preparation methods. To study cross-cultural differences between Danish (n = 204) and French (n = 304) consumers with regard to preparation of coarse vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, curly kale, Brussels sprouts, white cabbage, parsnip/root parsley, beetroot, celeriac and carrot), a consumer study was conducted in each county on following preparations: raw, steamed, boiled, fried, in the oven, soup and pickled. The check all that apply (CATA) data showed that serving the…

Siirtymät ammatillisesta koulutuksesta korkeakoulutukseen Suomessa ja muissa Pohjoismaissa

2018
