Imettämässä kaapissa? : pitkään imettäneet äidit ja normatiiviset tilat

Imetys on feministiseltä kannalta kiinnostava tutkimusaihe, koska siihen liittyy keskusteluja sekä äidin että lapsen oikeuksista, samalla kun siihen liittyvät vahvasti normatiiviset odotukset esimerkiksi imetyksen keston sopivasta pituudesta tai imetyksen sopivuudesta julkiseen tilaan. Artikkelini soveltaa queer-teoreettisia käsitteitä imetystutkimukseen. Pohdin artikkelissa imetykseen liitettävää normatiivisuutta Sara Ahmedin teoretisointia soveltaen, ja tarkastelen julkisen imetyksen haasteita kaapin metaforan avulla. Šajā bakalaura darbā tiek pētīts PSRS un nacistiskās Vācijas totalitāro režīmu simbolikas izmantošanas regulējums Latvijas Republikā. Darba teorētisko daļu veido dažādu autoru darbi par politisko simbolu nozīmēm politiskajā režīmā, kā arī par simbolu nozīmi organizāciju teorijā. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt, kā veidojies normatīvais regulējums, kas regulē PSRS un nacistiskās Vācijas totalitāro režīmu simbolu izmantošanu. Lai to darītu, tiks pētīti normatīvie akti, kas sevī ietver totalitāro režīmu simbolikas izmantošanas regulējumu, kā arī šo normatīvo aktu pieņemšanas process.
Dividing Responsibility for Care : Tracing the Ethics of Care in Local Care Strategies

This article analyses local care policies through the lens of the feminist ethics of care. The focus is on the normative understandings regarding care that emerge in local care strategy documents and how these understandings relate with the concept of ‘responsibility’. In this article, strategies published by the municipality of Jyväskylä, Finland, between the years 2008 and 2016, are analysed using Trace analysis. The research questions are: How is the division of responsibility regarding care among different actors constructed in the strategies? The changes of translation norms. 1930 and 1953 as contexts of the translation of The Magic Mountain by Thomas Mann. The author presents the preliminary considerations related to a planned study the purpose of which is to reconstruct the history of the Polish translation of Der Zauberberg (The Magic Mountain) by Thomas Mann and examine its impact on the Polish reception of the work. Since each of the two parts of the novel were translated by different translators and because the second volume was translated twice (in 1930 and 1953), the translation contexts are very significant. The study of moral judgements often centres on moral dilemmas in which options consistent with deontological perspectives (that is, emphasizing rules, individual rights and duties) are in conflict with options consistent with utilitarian judgements (that is, following the greater good based on consequences). Greene et al. (2009) showed that psychological and situational factors (for example, the intent of the agent or the presence of physical contact between the agent and the victim) can play an important role in moral dilemma judgements (for example, the trolley problem).
