A two-point boundary value formulation of a mean-field crowd-averse game

Abstract We consider a population of “crowd-averse” dynamic agents controlling their states towards regions of low density. This represents a typical dissensus behavior in opinion dynamics. Assuming a quadratic density distribution, we first introduce a mean-field game formulation of the problem, and then we turn the game into a two-point boundary value problem. Such a result has a value in that it turns a set of coupled partial differential equations into ordinary differential equations.
Large Networks of Dynamic Agents: Consensus under Adversarial Disturbances

This paper studies interactions among homogeneous social groups within the framework of large population games. Each group is represented by a network and the behavior described by a two-player repeated game. The contribution is three-fold. Beyond the idea of providing a novel two-level model with repeated games at a lower level and population games at a higher level, we also establish a mean field equilibrium and study state feedback best-response strategies as well as worst-case adversarial disturbances in that context.
Neuromuscular disorders and non compaction: How much is the strength of the association and how can it be suspected?

In many reports Finsterer and Stöllberger reported a strong association between non compaction of the left ventricle and neuromuscular disorders. In the same report the authors described a neurological involvement in more than 50%. Recently we published our personal experience, about 21 paediatric patients: only 4 patients (19%) showed a neuromuscular disorder, and only 1 of them showed an increased plasmatic level of CK, and in particular of MM isoform, with a normal level of CK-MB. None presented high levels of troponine. The electroweak sector of the Standard Model can be formulated in a way similar to Chiral Perturbation Theory (ChPT), but extended by a singlet scalar. The resulting effective field theory (EFT) is called Higgs-Electroweak Chiral Lagrangian (EWCh$\mathcal{L}$) and is the most general approach to new physics in the Higgs sector. It solely assumes the pattern of symmetry breaking leading to the three electroweak Goldstone bosons (i.e. massive $W$ and $Z$) and the existence of a Higgs-like scalar particle. Przedstawiono wyniki badań skuteczności systemu zarządzania energią na zgodność z normą ISO 50001 w przedsiębiorstwie sektora chemicznego. Zakres czasowy badań obejmował okres również sprzed wdrożenia systemu, co umożliwiło stworzenie warunków porównawczych. W artykule przedstawiono pozasystemowe czynniki determinujące skuteczność systemu. Artykuł mieści się w dyscyplinie nauk o zarządzaniu i jakości. Do przeprowadzonych badań zastosowano metody jakościowe.

This paper is trying to test the hypothesis of efficient market (EMH Efficient Market Hypothesis), the case of capital market in Romania during the economic financial crisis. According to the purpose in view our research is aiming at testing the hypothesis of random walk of stock exchange indexes BET, BET-C, BET_FI of Bucharest Stock Exchange. In this respect we will enforce statistic tests to see if the capital market in Romania is efficient in a weak form during this period.

Elektromyografiaa (EMG) on käytetty jo vuosikymmeniä lihasaktiivisuuden tutkimisessa, mutta edelleen siihen liittyy useita epävarmuustekijöitä. Yksi näistä on EMG-signaalin normalisointi eli kuinka elektromyogrammi tulisi normalisoida erilaisissa suorituksissa ja millainen referenssisupistus tulisi valita normalisointiyhtälön viitearvoksi. Normalisointia pidetään edellytyksenä EMG-signaaleja vertailevalle analyyseille, jos signaalit ovat rekisteröity eri lihaksista, eri henkilöiltä tai samasta lihaksesta eri ajankohtina. Džeknaifa empīriskās ticamības metodes izmantošana ticamības intervālu konstruēšanai laukumam zem ROC līknes

Mūsdienās arvien lielāku popularitāti gūst neparametriskās statistikas metodes. Viena no šādām plaši izmantotajām metodēm ir empīriskās ticamības metode (EL). To kombinējot ar džeknaifa pseido vērtībām, iegūst džeknaifa empīrisko ticamības metodi (JEL). Šī darba mērķis ir pētīt JEL metodes izmantošanas iespējas normalizēto parciālo laukumu zem ROC līknes (AUC) novērtēšanā. Izmantojot šo metodi, tika konstruēti ticamības intervāli gan vienam normalizētajam parciālajam AUC, gan laukumu starpībai. Darba gaitā tika veiktas arī simulācijas, kas parādīja, ka džeknaifa empīriskās ticamības metode strādā ievērojami labāk par normālās aproksimācijas metodi, kā arī tika apskatīts metodes pielietojums…
