On some classes of supersoluble groups

[EN] Finite groups G for which for every subgroup H and for all primes q dividing the index |G:H| there exists a subgroup K of G such that H is contained in K and |K:H|=q are called Y-groups. Groups in which subnormal subgroups permute with all Sylow subgroups are called PST-groups. In this paper a local version of the Y-property leading to a local characterisation of Y-groups, from which the classical characterisation emerges, is introduced. The relationship between PST-groups and Y-groups is also analysed.

We give a complete classification of the finite groups with a unique subgroup of order p for each prime p dividing its order. All the groups considered in this paper will be finite. One of the most fruitful lines in the research in abstract group theory during the last years has been the study of groups in which the members of a certain family of subgroups satisfy a certain subgroup embedding property. The family of the subgroups of prime order (also called minimal subgroups) has attracted the interest of many mathematicians. We study the class of finite groups $G$ satisfying $\Phi (G/N)= \Phi(G)N/N$ for all normal subgroups $N$ of $G$. As a consequence of our main results we extend and amplify a theorem of Doerk concerning this class from the soluble universe to all finite groups and answer in the affirmative a long-standing question of Christensen whether the class of finite groups which possess complements for each of their normal subgroups is subnormally closed.

Aim. We report a case of congenital true pancreatic cyst with high level of enzymatic activity, rarely seen in young and children which, to the best of our knowledge, rarely has previously been reported. A young girl was admitted to our clinic with a history of abdominal swelling and pain during exercise for many months. A mobile, smooth, non-tender mass was palpated on the left side of the abdomen during physical examination. Ultrasonography and computed tomography imaging revealed a not subdivide cystic mass sized 11.51x8.2 cm. Methods. Testing for Lynch Syndrome in Endometrial Carcinoma: From Universal to Age-Selective MLH1 Methylation Analysis

Simple Summary International guidelines recommend universal screening of endometrial carcinoma patients for Lynch syndrome, a hereditary cancer predisposition syndrome. Screening is based on mismatch repair protein immunohistochemistry and reflex MLH1 methylation analysis to exclude the likely sporadic cases of MMR deficiency. As sporadic MLH1 protein loss is common in endometrial carcinoma, the ability to target methylation testing would save efforts and costs. Normalized Solutions to the Fractional Schrödinger Equation with Potential

AbstractThis paper is concerned with the existence of normalized solutions to a class of Schrödinger equations driven by a fractional operator with a parametric potential term. We obtain minimization of energy functional associated with that equations assuming basic conditions for the potential. Our work offers a partial extension of previous results to the non-local case.
