In 1899 Ricarda Huch (1864–1947) published the first part of the treatise on German Romanticism entitled Blütezeit der Romantik (The Flowering of Romanticism). The results of further studies on Romanticism were presented in the second volume from 1902 entitled Ausbreitung und Verfall der Romantik (Popularization and fall of Romanticism). The above text constitutes an attempt of thinking over the topie of displacement to the centre of the apprehension of the natural Sciences and pushing the humanities down to the outskirts. This process was introduced on the example of the literary texts reflecting the ideological changes of the ending XIX. century and starting XX. century.
