Examinations of Bilateral Epileptiform Activities in Hippocampal Slices Obtained From Young Mice

Bilateral interconnections through the hippocampal commissure play important roles in synchronizing or spreading hippocampal seizure activities. Intact hippocampi or bilateral hippocampal slices have been isolated from neonatal or immature rats (6–7 or 12–21 days old, respectively) and the mechanisms underlying the bilateral synchrony of hippocampal epileptiform activities have been investigated. Nāvessods kā tiesību uz dzīvību apdraudējums

Maģistra darbā analizēta nāvessoda piemērošanas problemātika un tā pretruna tiesībām uz dzīvību. Izpētes rezultātā secināts, ka nāvessods nevar tikt uzskatīts par soda veidu, bet gan valstiski izdarītu slepkavību. Ar nāvessoda palīdzību nav iespējams sasniegt soda mērķus, bet gan iebaidīt. Izņēmums, kad pieļaujama valstiski izdarīta slepkavība ir citādi nenovēršamu, cilvēku dzīvībai pastāvošu briesmu gadījumā, kad neeksistē citi, tiesību mazāk ierobežojoši līdzekļi. Nepieciešams starptautiski noteikt un darīt saistošu tiesību uz dzīvību sākuma brīdi un piemērot atbilstošus augļa aizsardzības pasākumus. We analyze a class o f state space identification algorithms for time series, based on canonical correlation analysis in the ligth of recent results on stochastic systems theory calle d « subspace methods » .These can be describe as covariance estimation followed b y stochastic realization .The methods offer the major advantage o f converting the nonlinear parameter estimation phase in traditional V A R M A models identification in to the solution o f Riccati equation but introduce at the same time some no n trivial mathematical problem s related to positivity.
