An Interactive Framework for Offline Data-Driven Multiobjective Optimization

We propose a framework for solving offline data-driven multiobjective optimization problems in an interactive manner. No new data becomes available when solving offline problems. We fit surrogate models to the data to enable optimization, which introduces uncertainty. The framework incorporates preference information from a decision maker in two aspects to direct the solution process. Firstly, the decision maker can guide the optimization by providing preferences for objectives. Deep neural attention-based model for the evaluation of italian sentences complexity

In this paper, the Automatic Text Complexity Evaluation problem is modeled as a binary classification task tackled by a Neural Network based system. It exploits Recurrent Neural Units and the Attention mechanism to measure the complexity of sentences written in the Italian language. An accurate test phase has been carried out, and the system has been compared with state-of-art tools that tackle the same problem. The computed performances proof the model suitability to evaluate sentence complexity improving the results achieved by other state-of-the-art systems.

Abstract This ethnographically oriented study followed the writing experiences of four students on an international masters programme in Finland. Gathering a range of data, the study set out to examine what counts as good writing on a programme with a very diverse student body in which English is used as a lingua franca. Over the years, scalarization functions have been used to solve multiobjective optimization problems by converting them to one or more single objective optimization problem(s). This study proposes a novel idea of solving multiobjective optimization problems in an interactive manner by using multiple scalarization functions to map vectors in the objective space to a new, so-called preference incorporated space (PIS). Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Using Finnish Sign Language : Training Counselors in Signed ACT for the Deaf. A Pilot Study

This study evaluated the implementation of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in Finnish Sign Language in a rehabilitation center for deaf people. Sixteen (16) clients and nine (9) staff members participated in this pilot study. Staff members received a brief training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) including 16 h lectures, 15 h supervision, and studying material. Each staff member treated 1–2 clients during 8–10 sessions. As part of the study, several ACT metaphors and exercises were translated into Finnish Sign Language. Est interrogee l’identite sexuelle comme part de l’identite socialement construite dans un dispositif de sexualite. La clinique de l’homme handicape physique, suppose depourvu de virilite vient eclairer la clinique du masculin en general. Ne peut-on jouer un role masculin (par exemple dans la fonction paternelle, dans la sexualite ou au travail) sans posseder les attributs stereotypes de la virilite ?

L’analyse du registre d’entrée des plaintes et procès-verbaux du parquet de Dijon est riche d’enseignements quant au rôle du ministère public dans le processus pénal. Au delà du grand nombre d’affaires classées, cet article montre que le procureur privilégie avant tout le maintien de l’ordre public, avec une rigueur perceptible à l’égard des infractions commises par les jeunes, les sans domicile et les ouvriers.
