Uz VLP bāzētas vakcīnas organismā izraisa spēcīgu antivielu atbildes reakciju, ko pastiprina uz VLP virsmas simetriski izkārtotie un atkārtotie antigēnu motīvi. Bakalaura darba mērķis bija izveidot uz VLP balstītus anti-sklerostīna vakcīnas prototipus, kas potenciāli varētu inhibēt endogēno sklerostīna pašantigēnu organismā. Bakalaura darbā tika konstruēti sklerostīna ekspresijas vektori, rekombinantais sklerostīna proteīns tika ekspresēts E.coli, attīrīts un ar divām atšķirīgām metodēm ķīmiski konjugēts pie dažādiem VLP. Visefektīvākā konjugācija ar natīvo sklerostīnu tika konstatēta Qβ un ESE001 VLP, izmantojot BCN-PEG8-NHS un tetrazīna-NHS ķīmiskās iezīmes, tādēļ šie konjugāti tika atlas…
