To characterize the behavior of magnetofluorescent products injected in mice intravenously.The magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) products were labelled with fluorescent molecules to examine the biodistribution process in vivo and observe them at the cellular level by means of confocal microscopy. Three-dimensional (3D) sequences of images were obtained by spectral analysis of sample preparations in a multiphoton confocal microscope and analyzed by the factor analysis of medical image sequence algorithm, which provides factor curves. Purpose: To evaluate the performance of periscope and/or chimney grafts (CPGs) in the endovascular treatment of pararenal or thoracoabdominal aneurysms using off-the-shelf devices. After Serafini’s (1992) distinction between loose and cohesive style, this paper shows the influence of sentence syntax on text construction and interpretation. Several stylistic effects derived from the use of one style or the other will be discussed by analyzing and comparing some texts in Catalan, Spanish and English. This analysis will highlight common tendencies along with interesting differences among the three languages. In addition, the loose-cohesive style dichotomy will be applied to literary and journalistic discourse analysis, on the one hand, and to contrastive analysis and translation, on the other hand.

Ascending thoracic aorta disease is often a life-threatening condition. Aortic aneurysm and aortic dissection are the most frequent ascending aorta diseases requiring surgical intervention. Surgical repair techniques of the ascending aorta are various; they include reconstruction of the ascending aorta by using a graft with or without a prosthetic valve, reconstruction with a composite artificial graft or using a biological graft, and reconstruction of the ascending aorta with a composite graft preserving the native valve and arch repair. Abstract Enzymatic browning is a main problem encountered in minimal processing and further storage of leafy vegetables, leading to shorter shelf-life of products. Changes in the two oxidative activities, polyphenol oxidase (PPO) and peroxidase (POD), as well as in total phenolic content, colour parameters and antioxidant capacity (assayed with ORAC method), were monitored during 10 days of storage at 4 °C of minimally processed baby Romaine lettuce ( Lactuca sativa L. cv.
