The incidence of Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome (OSAS) in the pediatric population is about 2%. The diagnosis is based on the employment of questionnaires, and polysomnography (PSG) that is the gold standard also among children. The PSG allows to classify OSAS as mild in case of 110. If polysomnography is not available, we need alternative diagnostic tests such as nocturnal oximetry studies and respiratory polygraphy. The risk factors identified are different from adults, first tonsillar hypertrophy wins over others. Darbā tiek apskatīti silīcija kristālu audzēšanas peldošas zonas metodes skaitliskie elektromagnētiskā lauka aprēķini. Darbā tiek salīdzinātas dažādas skaitlisku aprēķinu metodes. No vienas puses izmanto programmu, kas implementē robeželementu metodes augstfrekvences elektromagnētiska lauka tuvinājumā. Alternatīvi tiek apskatīta virsmas impedances robežnosacījumu ieviešana programmās, kas balstās uz galīgo elementu metodi. Virsmas impedances robežnosacījumu implementācija ir pieejama ANSYS, GetDP un FEMM programmās 2D un 3D gadījumā. Modeļu precizitāte tiek novērtēta uz vienkāršota piemēra. Izmantojot ieviestos robežnosacījumus, tiek veikti reālas 4 collu peldošas zonas sistēmas aprēķini.

Minimally invasive treatment of uterine fibroids usually requires a power morcellation, which could be associated with several complications. A rare sequela is disseminated peritoneal leiomyomatosis. Indeed, recurrence or metastasis in these cases could be attributed to iatrogenic or under-evaluation of primary tumors, although a subset of cases is a sporadic sample of biological progression. We present an extremely rare case of a patient who underwent laparoscopic morcellation and after 12 years developed a pelvic leiomyosarcoma with two omental metastases, disseminated peritoneal leiomyomatosis with a parasite leiomyoma with bizarre nuclei and a parasite cellular leiomyoma simultaneously.…

To promote self-awareness of young people’s agency and identify persons in need of support the Assessment Tool for Perceived Agency (ATPA-22) was developed. Aim: This study aims to evaluate the psychometric properties of the ATPA-22. Participants were young adults not in education, employment or training (NEETs) and students in higher education (HEI).
