In forest management planning, participatory planning processes are often encouraged as a means to acquire relevant information and to enhance the stakeholders' acceptability of alternative plans. This requires the aggregation of the stakeholders' preferences that can be done in a wide variety of manners. The aggregation process strives to reduce the information into a single set of preferences that simplifies the information and allows for the use of discrete decision support tools. Objetivos: Valorar el estado bucodental en 88 pacientes con cánceres corporales, previo al inicio de su tratamiento quimioterápico. Diseño del estudio: Estudiamos 88 pacientes con cánceres de diferentes localizaciones corporales y los comparamos con un grupo control. Analizamos la placa dental (mediante el índice de Silness y Löe), el estado dental (mediante el índice CAO.D) y el estado periodontal (índice CPI modificado). International audience; It is customary for some universities to offer recordings of live lectures to students. Whether this improves learning and academic performance is debated in the literature. As with most technology, correct usage can lead to increased academic performance, but there are also usage patterns that can be considered counter productive, especially for learning mathematics. Aim. The aim of the study is to find out students’ perspectives on the necessity, readiness and disturbing factors of implementing musical activities in preschool. The theoretical part of the paper describes the particularity of preschool teachers’ work, the children’s interest in musical activities, and the benefits of implementing musical activities in preschool.

Enabling and constraining family: young women building their educational paths in Tanzania

For an increasing number of African girls and women, upgrading the level of education has become a strategy for life improvement. This paper analyses the role that family plays in enabling women's education and contributes to understanding on the interconnectivity of education, work and family in women's lives in collective societies. The analysis focuses on how young Tanzanian women perceive the role of family and education in their ‘youth task’, of becoming adult. The analysis is based on interviews with seven young Tanzanian women enrolled in non-formal secondary education and nine professional women enrolled in higher education. In questo lavoro si discute di una particolare “collezione” di corpi di ecclesiastici, mummifcati ed esposti in un comune montano madonita della Sicilia, Gangi. I corpi, principalmente risalenti al XIX secolo, mummifcati per colatura come nella tradizione del tempo e vestiti degli abiti talari, sono esposti nel piano sottostante della Chiesa Madre, in quella che nella tradizione è detta la “fossa dei parrini” (fossa dei preti).
