Turnīru rezultātu reģistrācijas sistēma spēlei League of Legends

2019

Kvalifikācijas darba ietvaros ir izstrādāta turnīru rezultātu reģistrēšanas sistēma spēlei “League of Legends”, kas paredz iespēju reģistrēt spēles turnīru administratoriem informāciju par dažādiem turnīriem un to norises rezultātiem, kā arī dot iespēju pašiem turnīru dalībniekiem un citiem cilvēkiem sekot līdzi turnīru norisei. Konkrētā sistēma palīdzēs ne tikai vien visiem, kam interesē kāds turnīrs un tā iznākums, apskatīt svarīgākos turnīra aspektus, neatrodoties tieši paša turnīra norises vietā, bet vēl jo vairāk pašiem turnīru organizatoriem taupīt laiku un naudu, ērti un ātri reģistrējot nozīmīgākos turnīra datus sistēmā, netērējot tam nekādus papīra resursus, kas mēdz ātri kļūt neli…

High Bacterial Agglutination Activity in a Single-CRD C-Type Lectin from Spodoptera exigua (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae)

2017

Lectins are carbohydrate-interacting proteins that play a pivotal role in multiple physiological and developmental aspects of all organisms. They can specifically interact with different bacterial and viral pathogens through carbohydrate-recognition domains (CRD). In addition, lectins are also of biotechnological interest because of their potential use as biosensors for capturing and identifying bacterial species. In this work, three C-type lectins from the Lepidoptera Spodoptera exigua were produced as recombinant proteins and their bacterial agglutination properties were characterized. The lowest protein concentration producing bacterial agglutination against a panel of different Gram+ an…

Moral Neuroeducation, Ethics of Justice and Pluralism

2019

In order to design a model of moral neuroeducation for pluralistic and democratic societies three core issues need to be addressed in-depth: firstly, the cerebral basis of moral behaviour (neuroethics); secondly, how neuroscientific knowledge can be engaged in the teaching of moral education (moral neuroeducation); and finally, the specific ethical model underpinning this area of education (moral and political philosophy). The last of these three issues is the focus of this chapter, as it is fundamental to the whole project of moral neuroeducation, and it structures the approach to moral neuroeducation proposed in this chapter. Drawing on the conceptual framework of Adela Cortina’s ethics o…

Crystal Structure and Magnetic Properties of 3,5-Pyridinedicarboxylate-Bridged Re(Ii)M(Ii) Heterodinuclear Complexes (M = Cu, Ni and Co)

2021

Abstract The use of the mononuclear rhenium(II) precursor NBu4[Re(NO)Br4(H2pydc)]·i-PrOH (1) (H2pydc = 3,5-pyridinedicarboxylic acid) as a metalloligand towards Cu(II), Ni(II) and Co(II) afforded three new heterobimetallic complexes [Re(NO)Br4(μ-Hpydc)Cu(4,4′-dmbipy)2]·(CH3)2CO·0.25MeCN (2), [Re(NO)Br4(μ-Hpydc)Ni(dmphen)2]·MeCN (3) and [Re(NO)Br4(μ-Hpydc)Co(dmphen)2]·2H2O (4), respectively [4,4′-dmbipy = 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine, dmphen = 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline and Bu4N+ = tetra-n-butylammonium]. The crystal structures of 1 and 2 are reported herein together with the cryomagnetic investigation of 1–4 in the temperature range of 2.0–300 K. 1 is a mononuclear compound whose str…

Cyanido-bridged {FeIIILnIII} heterobimetallic chains assembled through the [FeIII{HB(pz)3}(CN)3]−complex as metalloligand: synthesis, crystal structu…

2021

A new series of cyanido-bridged {FeIIILnIII} heterobimetallic chains of general formula {[(NC)FeIII{HB(pz)3}(μ-CN)2LnIII(bpdo)(NO3)2(H2O)]·CH3CN}n [HB(pz)3− = hydrotris(pyrazol-1-yl)borate, bpdo = 2,2′-bipyridine-N,N′-dioxide and Ln = Gd (1), Tb (2), Dy (3) and Ho (4)], were obtained by using the low-spin [Fe{HB(pz)3}(CN)3]− complex as a metalloligand towards the preformed [Ln(bdpo)(NO3)2(H2O)]+ species. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction shows that 1–4 are isostructural compounds that crystallize in the monoclinic P21/c space group. Their crystal structure consists of neutral 1D coordination polymers where the [Fe{HB(pz)3}(CN)3]− fragment adopts a bis-monodentate coordination mode, through t…

An unprecedented hetero-bimetallic three-dimensional spin crossover coordination polymer based on the tetrahedral [Hg(SeCN)4]2− building block

2019

[EN] Self-assembly of octahedral FeII ions, trans-1,2-bis(4-pyridyl) ethane (bpe) bridging ligands and [Hg(XCN)(4)](2-) (X = S (1), Se (2)) tetrahedral building blocks has afforded a new type of hetero-bimetallic Hg-II-Fe-II spin-crossover (SCO) 3D 6,4-connected coordination polymer (CP) formulated {Fe(bpe)[Hg(XCN)(4)]}(n). For X = S (1), the ligand field is close to the crossing point but 1 remains paramagnetic over all temperatures. In contrast, for X = Se (2) the complex undergoes complete thermal induced SCO behaviour centred at T-1/2 = 107.8 K and complete photoconversion of the low spin state into a metastable high-spin state (LIESST effect) with T-LIESST = 66.7 K. The current results…

Studies on adducts of organotin(IV) halides with bis(acetylacetone)ethylenediimine

1971

The solid state configuration of 1/1 adducts, formed by mono-, di- and tri-organotin(IV) halides with the potentially tetradentate ligand bis(acetylacetone)ethylenediimine, has been investigated. The infrared spectra suggest that the neutral ligand coordinates SnIV through N (or O) atoms of the H-bonded acetylacetoneimine moieties. The skeletal vibrations associated to Sn-C and Sn-Cl bonds are consistent with square planar configurations of the organotin(IV) halide moieties, where SnCl3 and C3Sn groups would be T-shaped, and Alk2SnCl2 would have trans-dialkyl, trans-dichloro arrangements. The latter configuration is supported by the magnitude of the quadrupole splittings. Measurements of th…

Mononuclear and binuclear copper(II) complexes with bis(2-imidazolyl)(bis(methoxycarbonyl)methylmethane) (BIBM), a tripodal bis(imidazole) based liga…

2013

Two new Cu(II) complexes with bis(2-imidazolyl) (bis(methoxycarbonyl)methylmethane) (BIBM), a tridentate bis(imidazole) based ligand with the formula [Cu(BIBM) 2 ](ClO 4 ) 2 ( 1 ) and [{Cu(BIBM)(H 2 O)} 2 (μ 1,2,3,4 -C 2 O 4 )](C 4 O 4 )·6H 2 O ( 2 ) have been synthesized and characterized. Compound 1 shows mononuclear cationic [Cu(BIBM) 2 ] 2+ units and perchlorate ions. The coordination around the Cu(II) ion shows a tetragonally-elongated octahedral geometry. The BIBM ligand acts as a k 3 -N,N’,O tripodal ligand, through two imidazole N atoms and a weak Cu–O(carboxymethyl) axial interaction. In the crystal structure cations and anions connect through H-bonds generating linear chains. Line…

1997

Abstract Potentiometric investigations in aqueous solution at 25°C and ionic strength 0.1 mol dm−3 KCl show that 2 2,4-toluenediamine-N,N,N′N′-tetraacetic acid (2,4-TDTA) forms with Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II), Zn(II) and Mn(II) the following complexes (ligand, H4L): monomers [MH2L], [MHL]− and [ML]2−; dimers [M2HL2]3− and [M2L2]4−; with excess of ligand [MH2L2]4−, [MHL2]5− and [ML2]6− (Cu(II), Ni(II) and Zn(II)) and with excess of metal [M2HL]+ (Ni(II), Co(II)and Mn(II) and [M2L] (Cu(II)). The formation constants of the complexes have been determined. The species distribution diagrams indicate that a concentrated solution with a ligand:metal ratio 1:1 at pH 6 is suitable for the synthesis of cr…
