Towards a SDN-based architecture for analyzing network traffic in cloud computing infrastructures

Currently, network traffic monitoring tools do not fit well in the monitoring of cloud computing infrastructures. These tools are not integrated with the control plane of the cloud computing stack. This lack of integration causes a deficiency in the handling of the re-usage of IP addresses along virtual machines, a lack of adaption and reaction on highly frequent topology changes, and a lack of accuracy in the metrics gathered for the networking traffic flowing along the cloud infrastructure. Trophic habits of Muscardinus avellanarius (Mammalia Gliridae) as revealed by multiple stable isotope analysis

Multiple stable isotope analysis was used to investigate the diet of the common dormouse Muscardinus avellanarius in a mixed Mediterranean forest. δ13C and δ15N values of dormouse tissues compared to those of the vegetal and animal sources available in the area showed that the isotopic composition of both adult and juvenile M. avellanarius could be explained by a mixture of vegetal and animal organic matter. The isotopic composition of the assimilated nitrogen was mostly explained by the organic matter from flora. The conservation potential of brook-side key habitats in managed boreal forests

Today, maintaining biodiversity is included in the targets of boreal forest management. A widespread approach in northern Europe is to identify and preserve woodland key habitats within managed forests. Woodland key habitats are expected to be patches that host populations of threatened and declining species, and the preservation of these patches is assumed to enable the persistence of the focal species in the landscape. Artykuł prezentuje antropologiczny aspekt (punkt widzenia) modlitwy chrześcijańskiej. Chodzi o spojrzenia na modlitwę od strony człowieka, o wgląd w ludzką postać modlitwy, czyli istoty psychofizyczno-duchowej wychylonej ku Bogu. Można rozpatrywać modlitwę z Bożej i ludzkiej perspektywy. Istnieje bowiem nierozerwalny związek modlącego się z Bogiem. Apostoł narodów zaleca chrześcijaninowi „radykalny zwrot” w stronę Boga, dzięki pomocy Ducha Świętego (Rz 8,26b-27). Meromixis origin and recent trophic evolution in the Spanish mountain lake La Cruz

A sediment core from a Mediterranean karstic lake was studied through its pollen, diatom, chydorid, ostracod, charcoal and authigenic mineral composition. Information about environmental history recorded in the sediment sequence since the Middle Ages is presented. The main fluctuations of water volume and trophic status of the lake occurred during periods of great change in land management and during climatic cold phases. The synergetic effect of these two factors led to a high water level phase and triggered a rising of the trophic level which produced meromixis. Artykuł podejmuje problematykę katechetycznego znaczenia Tygodnia Powszechnej Modlitwy o Jedność Chrześcijan w diecezji opolskiej w oparciu o listy pasterskie z lat 2016–2018, jakie bp A. Czaja skierował do wiernych w związku z obchodami tego tygodnia. Są one ważne z punktu widzenia współczesnej katechezy ukierunkowanej ekumenicznie. Zawierają cenne pouczenia katechizmowe oraz zaproszenie do włączenia się w ruch ekumeniczny. W sposób szczególny w listach pasterskich bpa A. Czai obecne są zagadnienia, które wynikają z realizacji takich zadań katechezy, jak: rozwój poznania wiary, wprowadzenie do misji, wychowanie do modlitwy oraz wychowanie do życia wspólnotowego.

Si bien en la educación presencial uno de los factores clave del éxito es el desempeño del docente dentro del salón de clase, es evidente que dentro de la educación en línea el papel del docente será distinto a su papel tradicional. Por ello, deben revalorarse los factores que garantizarán la calidad en este nuevo tipo de oferta educativa. En este estudio se muestran los resultados obtenidos de un análisis de caso de educación mixta (blended learning) para educación superior, y se enlistan los factores de éxito resultantes, así como algunas barreras para la adecuada implantación.
