Šis darbs ir veltīts noziedzīga nodarījuma subjektīvo pazīmju apzināšanai un pētīšanai. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt noziedzīga nodarījuma subjekta pazīmes (fiziska persona, kas sasniegusi Krilimāllikumā noteikto vecumu, ir pieskaitāma vai ierobežoti pieskaitāma persona), subjektīvās puses pazīmes (vaina, motīvs, mērķis). This research investigates the long¿run after¿performance of firms conducting seasoned equity offering in the Spanish market during the period 1993¿1999. Due to statistical and conceptual problems related to the estimation and contrast of long¿horizon returns, we analyse the robustness of results to different methodologies. We obtain evidence that issuers experience negative abnormal returns economically and statistically significant during the year after the event. Miniaturisation characterises our cognitive life and, of course, the ‘cognitive life of things’ that we produce, manipulate and discard. Abstract The purpose of the paper is to clarify the situations when deviations from the rules of good conduct in scientific research are considered to be offenses. The paper, in the first part, it is focused on the idea of offence and it definition, because it is important to define this term in order to compare deviations and offences. In the second part, the paper refers to those situations when the deviations from the rules of good conduct in scientific research can become offences according to the Criminal Code.
