Il testo ricostruisce - anche attraverso alcuni documenti inediti - il quadro dei rapporti fra il poeta ed editore Mario Oliveri (1900-1963), lo scultore Vincenzo Ragusa e sua moglie, la pittrice O'Tama Kiyohara, dal 1925 sino al ritorno di O'Tama in Giappone, nel settembre 1932.

Abstract Two new neoclerodane diterpenoids, 6-deacetyl-teucrolivin A (5) and 8beta-hydroxy-teucrolivin B (6), were isolated from the aerial parts of Teucrium orientale, along with four already known neoclerodane diterpenoids, teucrolivin A (1), teucrolivin B (2), teucrolivin C (3) and teucrolivin H (4), previously isolated from Teucrium oliverianum. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic evidence and chemical transformations. Compounds 1-3 were assayed for antifeedant activity against Spodoptera littoralis, S. frugiperda and Heliocoverpa armigera. Teucrolivin A was the most potent of the three compounds tested.

Il testo analizza le fonti letterarie e la drammaturgia dell'opera "Notte per me luminosa" (soggetto/testo di Dario Oliveri - musica di Marco Betta), realizzata su commissione del Teatro Comunale di Modena nell'ambito delle celebrazioni del 500° anniversario della prima edizione dell'"Orlando furioso" di Ludovico Ariosto. Nella parte conclusiva vengono affrontati alcuni problemi legati alla nascita del melodramma e al problema della "mancanza di naturalezza" e del rapporto con il tema aristotelico della "verosimiglianza".

The seismic microzoning is a technique of analysis of a territory which aims to recognize, at a small scale, the local geological and geomorphologic conditions that may significantly affect the characteristics of the seismic motion, generating stress on structures that could produce permanent and critical effects. The Istoria di sant’Ursula by Antoni d’Oliveri from Catania is among the texts published by Giuseppe Cusimano in the two inaugural volumes of the «Collezione di testi siciliani dei secoli XIV e XV». This hagiographic work is a Sicilian ottava-rima cantare dated to 1471 and is preserved in the late fifteenth-century manuscript Palermo, Biblioteca Comunale, 2 Qq B 91. This article examines the Istoria within the context of fifteen-century Sicilian literature. L’esperienza della trasformazione della clinica Santa Barbara ha messo in evidenza alcuni temi specifici che riguardano il senso del progetto contemporaneo entro le dinamiche divergenti e rizomatiche che caratterizzano il nostro tempo. Dinamiche che ci obbligano a guardare al progetto di architettura come una pratica curatoriale, estesa nel tempo e nello spazio, che può tendere all’unità (anche senza raggiungerla) attraverso azioni prolungate di manutenzione permanente.
