Two kind of total intradermal suture techniques are described in the present report. These procedures allow an effective reduction of post-operative pain of surgical wound, prevent infections, cut down tissutal trauma, achieve better aesthetic results, making easier postoperative patient''s management. From January 2001 to December 2007, 1,427 patients underwent surgical treatment and the wounds have been sewn with self-locking knots or intradermal skin closure with introflecting knots. This kind of procedures allow a sharp reduction of postoperative pain as well as the incidence of wound infections. Also the number of wound medication required after surgery is significantly reduced.

Entre todos los cánceres del tracto genital femenino, el cáncer de ovario es el segundo en orden de frecuencia y el de mayor mortalidad. En España se diagnostican unos 3.300 casos nuevos anuales, lo que representa el 5% de los canceres entre las mujeres. La incidencia en nuestro país es de aproximadamente 9 nuevos casos / 100.000 habitantes/año. La tasa de mortalidad es de 4 muertes /100.000 habitantes/año. En el momento del diagnóstico, el 75% de las pacientes están en un estadio avanzado de la enfermedad (III o IV). Las cifras de supervivencia disminuyen drásticamente entre los estadio I al IV. Effect of Fibrin Sealant on Seroma Formation Post-Incisional Hernia Repair

Background: Development of seroma after incisional hernia repair is a common complication. Our study aims to compare the outcomes of sublay incisional hernia repairs with or without spray instillation of fibrin glue. Methods: We enrolled fifty patients undergoing incisional hernia repair. In all patients a suction drain was placed in the subcutaneous space. In one group (FG) 4 ml fibrin glue was instilled in the subcutaneous space. In the control group (C) patients did not receive any prevention measure. Wounds fluids were collected on post-operative day 1 (POD) and once daily until drain removal. Kościoły i inne związki wyznaniowe. Szczególna rola w ukształtowaniu przepisów wyznaniowych przypadła Kościołowi Katolickiemu, w tym jego przedstawicielowi w Komisji Konstytucyjnej Zgromadzenia Narodowego – ks. prof. Józefowi Krukowskiemu.
