Let $\mathscr{L}$ be a smooth second-order real differential operator in divergence form on a manifold of dimension $n$. Under a bracket-generating condition, we show that the ranges of validity of spectral multiplier estimates of Mihlin--H\"ormander type and wave propagator estimates of Miyachi--Peral type for $\mathscr{L}$ cannot be wider than the corresponding ranges for the Laplace operator on $\mathbb{R}^n$. The result applies to all sub-Laplacians on Carnot groups and more general sub-Riemannian manifolds, without restrictions on the step. Objective: Cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) is a dysplastic process in cervical squamous epithelium and carries a risk of progression to cervical cancer. The aim of this study was to compare expression of three biomarkers named p53, p63 and Ki-67 in patients with various grades of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and in a control group. Material and Method: 58 patients were enrolled in the study. Each patient underwent a colposcopy-guided biopsy of the cervix. Bakalaura darba tēma – Pacientu ar hemoroīdiem informētība perioperatīvajā periodā. Tēmas aktualitāti nosaka pacientu neizglītošana par hemoroīdu slimību. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot pacientu ar hemoroīdiem ir informēti perioperatīvajā periodā. Pētniecības uzdevumi ir apskatīt literatūru, izveidot anketu, aptaujāt respondentus, apkopot iegūtos rezultātus, analizēt rezultātus, izdarīt secinājumus. Pētniecības instruments ir anketa Pētniecības metode – kvalitatīvā Galvenie iegūtie rezultāti – pacienti ir daļēji informēti par hemoroīdiem perioperatīvajā periodā.

Artikkelissa tutkitaan äitien tyytyväisyyttä noin yksivuotiaan lapsensa varhaiskasvatuspalveluun tarkastelemalla palvelutyytyväisyyden ulottuvuuksia. Lisäksi tutkitaan äitien ja varhaiskasvatuksen henkilökunnan välisen yhteistyön sekä palveluntarjoajan (yksityinen vs. kunnallinen) yhteyttä äitien palvelutyytyväisyyteen. Lopuksi tarkastellaan, eroaako yhteistyön yhteys palvelutyytyväisyyteen palveluntarjoajan mukaan. Kształcenie inkluzyjne, obok integracyjnego i specjalnego (segregacyjnego), jest jedną z form kształcenia uczniów ze specjalnymi potrzebami edukacyjnymi (SPE) w Polsce. Zakłada ono edukację uczniów z różnymi cechami, np. z niepełnosprawnością w szkołach ogólnodostępnych. W procesie edukacyjno-terepeutycznym tej grupy uczniów istotną rolę odgrywają ich rodzice, dlatego też nieodzowne jest współdziałanie szkoły z rodziną ucznia. ADI schemes for valuing European options under the Bates model

This paper is concerned with the adaptation of alternating direction implicit (ADI) time discretization schemes for the numerical solution of partial integro-differential equations (PIDEs) with application to the Bates model in finance. Three different adaptations are formulated and their (von Neumann) stability is analyzed. Ample numerical experiments are provided for the Bates PIDE, illustrating the actual stability and convergence behaviour of the three adaptations. peerReviewed
