Frameless Neuronavigation Applied to Endoscopic Neurosurgery

Objective: We retrospectively analyzed the indications, surgical techniques, and applicability of frameless neuronavigation to endoscopic procedures in a heterogeneous group of 15 patients. Material and Methods: In 8 patients indications for surgery were cystic lesions, in 3 patients intraventricular tumors, and in 4 patients occlusive hydrocephalus. The mean age was 39 years (range 9 - 76 years). The follow-up period ranged from 5 - 24 months (mean 10 months). The use of intestinal segments in genitourinary reconstruction could influence vitamin metabolism and affect the skeletal bone and its mineral content in the long term. In 137 patients, serum levels of the vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B12, D, and E and of folic acid, bile acid, and ammonia as well as levels of intracorpuscular vitamin B12 and folic acid were examined and a red blood cell count was performed. We investigated whether climate uniformity (the pattern of climate perceptions of organizational support within the team) is related to task conflict, team communication quality, and team performance. We used a sample composed of 141 bank branches and collected data at 3 time points. The results obtained showed that, after controlling for aggregate team climate, climate strength, and their interaction, a type of nonuniform climate pattern (weak dissimilarity) was directly related to task conflict and team communication quality. We have investigated the possible influence of CYP3A5 and ABCB1 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and other factors (e.g. albumin, hematocrit and steroids) on tacrolimus blood levels achieved in a population of Caucasian liver (n=51) and kidney (n=50) transplant recipients.
