Po zakończeniu II wojny światowej na Opolszczyźnie na masową skalę organizowano od podstaw szkolnictwo dla dorosłych. Tworzono kursy dla analfabetów, kursy repolonizacyjne, szkoły podstawowe i średnie. Główną rolę w nich miał do odegrania nauczyciel. Przybywający do tego regionu nauczyciele od 1945 r. w większości posiadali wykształcenie pedagogiczne na poziomie seminarium nauczycielskiego. Niektórzy mieli ukończone uniwersyteckie studia wyższe, a nawet legitymowali się stopniem doktora. Część jednak była bez kwalifikacji zawodowych. Artykuł podejmuje problematykę katechetycznego znaczenia Tygodnia Powszechnej Modlitwy o Jedność Chrześcijan w diecezji opolskiej w oparciu o listy pasterskie z lat 2016–2018, jakie bp A. Czaja skierował do wiernych w związku z obchodami tego tygodnia. Są one ważne z punktu widzenia współczesnej katechezy ukierunkowanej ekumenicznie. Zawierają cenne pouczenia katechizmowe oraz zaproszenie do włączenia się w ruch ekumeniczny. W sposób szczególny w listach pasterskich bpa A. Czai obecne są zagadnienia, które wynikają z realizacji takich zadań katechezy, jak: rozwój poznania wiary, wprowadzenie do misji, wychowanie do modlitwy oraz wychowanie do życia wspólnotowego.

Abstract Results of phytosociological studies conducted in the southern part of Opole Silesia within the Sudetes mountain range in 2014-2015 are presented. The main aim of our research was to confirm the occurrence of Viscario vulgaris-Quercetum petraeae Stöcker 1965, which had previously been noted in Poland only within the Central Sudetes Foothills in Lower Silesia province. Two additional sites of this extremely rare in Poland plant association were confirmed, located within the Opawskie Mts in Opole province. Wołczyn to miasto leżące w województwie opolskim na Nizinie Śląskiej, w obrębie Monokliny Przedsudeckiej. Na terenie tym występuje ujęcie mineralnej solanki termalnej „Wołczyn VII A”, która kwalifikuje się do wykorzystania w profilaktyce i lecznictwie. Ze względu na brak w regionie ośrodków balneologicznych, istnieje zapotrzebowanie na rozwój tego typu form wykorzystania tworzyw balneologicznych. Zastosowanie solanek z Wołczyna w celach profilaktyczno-leczniczych, rekreacyjnych jak również jako tężnie, stwarza perspektywy nowej strategii w polityce zdrowotnej Śląska Opolskiego.

International audience; Plus d'un millier de restes animaux ont été recueillis dans vingt-deux inhumations, dix-sept crémations et six sépultures au rite indéterminé. Deux espèces se distinguent par leur fréquence, le porc et la volaille. Le bœuf et les caprinés sont moins fréquents, alors que le cheval, le chien, l'oie et l'ours sont rares. La plupart des porcs sont très jeunes, avec notamment des sujets périnataux. Ils sont souvent déposés sous forme d'épaules, de jambons ou de séries de côtes. Carabus scheidleri scheidleri is a very rare, legally protected in Poland species of ground beetle, occurring on single localities mainly in southern part of the country. The Authors present new data about occurrence of this species on the Bolko Island, one of the most valuable nature areas in town of Opole. General distribution of this species in Poland, commentson its systematic position and discussion about establishing protected area on the Bolko Island are also provided.
