The prevalence of hadronic jets at the LHC requires that a deep understanding of jet formation and structure is achieved in order to reach the highest levels of experimental and theoretical precision. There have been many measurements of jet substructure at the LHC and previous colliders, but the targeted observables mix physical effects from various origins. Purvs ir viena no jutīgākajām dabas ekosistēmām. Projekta mērķis ir atjaunot augstā purva biotopus četru dabas liegumu – Melnā ezera purva, Aklā purva, Rožu purva, Aizkraukles purvu un mežu – degradētajās platībās un pievērst sabiedrības uzmanību Latvijas dabas vērtībām.

Purvs ir mitra dzīvotne, kurai raksturīga aktīva kūdras veidošanās. Tā ir mājvieta daudziem augiem un dzīvniekiem, kuri nespēj dzīvot citur. Neskarti augstie purvi ir rets un apdraudēts biotops Eiropā. Nosusināšana, kūdras ieguve, mežu stādīšana un zemes rekultivācija pēdējās desmitgadēs ir nelabvēlīgi ietekmējusi purvus. Meliorācijas sistēmu ietekmes dēļ Aizkraukles purvā un mežos, Aklajā, Rožu un Melnā ezera purvā purva biotopi ir izmainījušies. Projekta mērķis ir atjaunot dabisko ūdens līmeni projekta vietās – augstā purva biotopos, kurus ir ietekmējusi nosusināšana – tādējādi aizsargāt Eiropas un Latvijas nozīmes purva biotopus, augus un dzīvniekus.

Human-centricity is considered a central aspect in the development and governance of artificial intelligence (AI). Various strategies and guidelines highlight the concept as a key goal. However, we argue that current uses of Human-Centered AI (HCAI) in policy documents and AI strategies risk downplaying promises of creating desirable, emancipatory technology that promotes human wellbeing and the common good. In particle collider experiments, elementary particle interactions with large momentum transfer produce quarks and gluons (known as partons) whose evolution is governed by the strong force, as described by the theory of quantum chromodynamics (QCD)1. These partons subsequently emit further partons in a process that can be described as a parton shower2, which culminates in the formation of detectable hadrons. The relationship between organizational interdependency and additionality obtained from innovation ecosystem participation

Abstract Despite the increased interest in innovation ecosystems, few studies have assessed the extent to which the proclaimed benefits from participating in such ecosystems also occur, and under which circumstances they do occur. Uniting the literature on organizational interdependence and social exchange theory, we assess the behavioral and output additionality obtained by innovation ecosystem participants. In doing so, we build upon a sample of 473 innovative Finnish companies, of which 312 participated in an innovation ecosystem.
