Concessive connectors are the focal point of grammaticalization processes, based on several types of lexical sources. In Catalan, «jatsia» (that) is the result of a grammaticalization process based on an aspectual temporary adverb (or phase adverb), which is comparable to the process that produced «encara que». The case of «encara que» has already been studied specifically by Pérez Saldanya & Salvador (1995), while Klesper (1930), Badia (1982) and Cuenca & Massip (2005) have focused on «jatsia» (that). <p>Techniques based on motion capture can be useful in <span><span style="font-size: x-small;">analyzing a wide range of musical styles and practices</span></span>: in this case, Transylvanian village music. We focused on a repertoire known as “Gypsy songs of sorrow”, played by professional Gypsy musicians during parties and celebrations of their own community. El presente estudio tiene por objetivo analizar la influencia del sexo, la actividad física practicada por los padres, la existencia de hermanos/as mayores o de igual edad y la práctica de actividad física extraescolar sobre el nivel de coordinación motriz global. The lead(II) coordination properties of the tetrapodal ligand DOTAM [1,4,7,10-tetrakis(carbamoylmethyl)-1,4,7,10-tetraaza-cyclododecane] have been investigated both in the solid state and in solution in order to ascertain the stereoactivity of the lone pair and to rationalize the structural effects of a cyclen-based scaffold on the metal uptake kinetics. Synthesis, characterization and reaction chemistry of lutetium alkylamido LLu(CH2SiMe3)(NHCPh3) (2), L = 2,5-[Ph2P=N(4-iPrC6H4)]2N(C4H2)–, is reported. Complex 2 undergoes cyclometalation of the NHCPh3 ligand at elevated temperatures to produce the orthometalated complex LLu(κ2−N,C-(NHCPh2(C6H4))) (3) which converts to 0.5 equivalents of bis(amido) LLu(NHCPh3)2 (4) upon heating at 80 °C for 24 h. A family of MnIIILnIII strictly dinuclear complexes of general formula [MnIII(μ-L)(μ-OMe)(NO3)LnIII(NO3)2(MeOH)] (LnIII = Gd, Dy, Er, Ho) has been assembled in a one pot synthesis from a polydentate, multipocket aminobis(phenol)ligand [6,6'-{(2-(1-morpholyl)ethylazanediyl)bis(methylene)}bis(2-methoxy-4-methylphenol)], Mn(NO3)2·4H2O, Ln(NO3)3· nH2O, and NEt3 in MeOH. These compounds represent the first examples of fully structurally and magnetically characterized dinuclear MnIIILnIII complexes. Ligand mediated evolution of size dependent magnetism in cobalt nanoclusters.

We use density functional theory to model the impact of a ligand shell on the magnetic properties of CoN (15 ≤ N ≤ 55) nanoclusters. We study three different ligand shells on each nanocluster core size, each known to have different electronic interactions with the surface: pure Cl ligand shells (X-type), pure PH3 ligand shells (L-type), and two component ligand shells with mixtures of Cl and PH3 ligands. The simulations show that the identity, arrangement, and total coverage of the ligand shell controls the distribution of local magnetic moments across the CoN core.
