2001
This article evaluates empirically the effect o f market introduction on the level o f regional inequalities and on the polarisation o f economic activities in Poland. We note an increase o f the disparities between regions over the relevant period. The re-polarisation process cannot been explained by a spatial re-allocation of labour force but rather results o f the differentiation of sectoral restructuring between regions the regional diversity o f sectoral adaptation. Etude de la gestion des carrières en contexte transfrontalier : le cas du Rhin supérieur
2020
Today, career management in human resources is becoming more international (Chanlat, 2007; Davoine and Ravasi, 2013a; Davoine et al, 2015) for several organizations. It is now a question of enabling their employees to gain international experience. Nevertheless, it turns out that some workers experience international mobility on a daily basis, on a personal basis and not as a result of organizational will, since they cross the border every day to go to work. These are cross-border workers, who are therefore neither expatriates nor international commuters. However, there is little literature in management sciences on these workers and the trinational context in which they operate, particularl…
Ethique et gouvernance des organisations
2010

Responsible Universities in Context
2019
AbstractIn this introductory chapter, the concept of the responsible university is introduced and put into context, first concerning other organisations and society at large, secondly in a historical perspective and thirdly related to policy initiatives across the globe. We also discuss how to implement this concept within the complex organisations that universities constitute. Lastly, we present some key features of the Nordic countries and introduce the empirical chapters of the book.
Les loisirs sportifs en milieu de grande industrie : sport, patronat et organisations ouvrières au Creusot et à Montceau-les-Mines (1879-1939).
2009
This study describes the origin and development of the sports phenomenon in the industrial cities of Le Creusot and Montceaules-Mines (Saône-et-Loire, Burgundy), from 1879 to 1939. Throughout this period, sports in Le Creusot were totally dominated by associations led and controlled by the manufacturers, whereas in Montceau-les-Mines, worker sports were the object of conflict between industrialists and labor organisations. Such a contrast signals the existence of tight connections at the local level between the history of a place and the way in which a sport develops there. At the same time, these observations suggest some conclusions about historical conditions necessary to the emergence o…
Organisations de l'économie sociale et solidaire : quelle théorie de la gouvernance ?
2012
A major aim for cooperatives is to become the model of stakeholders' organizations while keeping profitable. This supposes to resolve the three following points: to ensure an efficient management of resources which makes it possible to carry out transactions at a cost lower than that which would take place on the market; to design mechanisms of corporate governance allowing expression and implementation of stakeholders' interests and expectations; to implement mechanisms of control allowing to evaluate the action of top executives, particularly regarding satisfaction of expressed stakeholders expectations.
