European Vegetation Archive (EVA) was announced as a new initiative of the European Vegetation Survey at the EVS Meeting in Vienna in 2012. The aim of EVA is to create a centralized database of European vegetation plots by storing copies of national and regional databases on a single software platform using a unified taxonomic reference database. EVA does not affect the ongoing independent developments of source data bases and it guarantees that data property rights of the original contributors are re spected. La primera és un recull exhaustiu d’obres sobre la vellesa al llarg de la història amb la finalitat de comprovar com ha estat considerada en la tradició literària occidental i poder establir paral·lelismes o diferències amb Reflexions de la vellesa. La segona part se centra en el dietari pòstum d’Anna Murià: el fet de reflexionar íntimament sobre l’ancianitat i tot allò que la concerneix, a partir de la pròpia experiència, contribueix a considerar la peça, des d’aquesta perspectiva, com una mostra única.

Tutkimuksen tavoitteena on selvittää miten venäjä äidinkielenä ja suomi toisena kielenä opettajat ottavat oppilaan taustan huomioon, miten he diagnosoivat heidän kielellisiä vahvuuksia sekä heikkouksia ja kuinka he auttavat oppilaitaan vaikeuksien ilmetessä. En partant de l'hypothèse de Rizzolatti et collègues (1998, 2007) d'un isomorphisme originaire entre phonétique et sémantique, l'article analyse le rapport entre les différences phonologiques et les différences sémantiques dans quatre ensembles de mots monosyllabiques italiens (monophonèmes, pronoms, verbes et adverbes) et montre que les signifiants tendent à s'opposer entre eux par le biais des traits phonologiques distinctifs comme les signifiés s'opposent par le biais de traits morphologiques et sémantiques. Tämä pro gradu -tutkielma käsittelee empirismin tieto-oppia. Analysoitavina ovat tietoteoriassa vaikuttaneiden David Humen (1711–1776), A. J. Ayerin (1910–1989) sekä Eino Kailan (1890–1958) tietokäsitykset. Tulkintakulma on maltillisen valistushistoriallinen. Tutkimuksessa noudatetaan alkuperäistekstejä luettaessa suopeuden periaatetta, mutta esitetään myös kriittisiä huomioita itse oppeja kohtaan sekä pohditaan itse empiristisen tieto-opin mahdollista kehityskelpoisuutta. Online support for vulnerable consumers: a safe place?

Purpose This paper aims to examine the service experience in an online support community of consumers to understand the nature of social support and how it is experienced and enacted by vulnerable consumers. Design/methodology/approach A netnographic study was conducted to examine vulnerable consumers’ participation in an online support group for weight management. The Linguistic Inquiry Word Count (LIWC) program was used, and additionally data were coded using open coding. A hybrid approach to data analysis was undertaken using inductive and deductive methods.
