The relationship between social anxiety and cannabis use among adolescents and young adults is a highly debated topic. In this cross-sectional study, we tested whether cannabis use expectancies mediated the association between social anxiety and cannabis use severity in a sample of 343 young adults (74.3% male) who used cannabis. They completed self-report measures for the screening of problematic cannabis use (Cannabis Use Problems Identification Test) and social anxiety symptoms (Social Interaction Anxiety Scale and Social Phobia Scale). Moral Orders of Mobility: Youth Aspirations and ‘Doing’ Social Position in Finland

By studying the moral orders that young Finnish adults (aged 18–30) attach to geographical mobility, this article reveals previously neglected relationships between aspiration and mobility. The 40 young adult interviewees are living in the midst of Finnish political debates about youth aspiration, which emphasise geographical rather than social mobility as a way to enhance employability and demonstrate aspiration. We argue that young people themselves use the discourse of geographical mobility by leaning on morally ordered social positionings which tend to be classed and gendered. Social defining of the risk behaviors is rooted in a diverse, multidimensional world of norms, values, rituals and discourses. Including social contexts of engaging in the risk behaviors and production of knowledge about them allowed us to go beyond standard cause-and-effect descriptions and examine these actions as an essential element of everyday practices and rituals of youth. In the present thesis both ab initio and analytical calculations were carried out for thepotential energy, dipole moment and polarizability surfaces of the weakly bound van der Waals complexes CH4-N2 and C2H4-C2H4 for a broad range of intermolecular separations and configurations in the approximation of the rigid interacting molecules. For ab initio calculations the CCSD(T), CCSD(T)-F12 and less computationally expensive methods such as MP2, MP2-F12, SAPT, DFT-SAPT were employed (for all methods the aug-cc-pVTZ basis set was used).
