The domestic environment, as a space in continuous evolution, is called today to respond to some socio-cultural transformations, largely due to pressing technological innovations, which have profoundly changed the relationships between people and between them and the space of the house. These transformations redesign private spaces with a massive encroachment of the public sphere into the private one and vice versa, creating large areas of permeability in the confines of the house. The article analyzes some aspects of this phenomenon, intersecting the disciplinary contribution of design with the architectural and interior design, through some contemporary case studies.

The Contribution of Bullying Involvement and Alexithymia to Somatic Complaints in Preadolescents

Somatic complaints during preadolescence are connected to individual and contextual factors, and extant research highlights the relevance of alexithymia and bullying involvement. In this cross-sectional study, we explored the joint and unique influence of bullying involvement—as perpetrators, victims, or outsiders—and alexithymia on somatic complaints in a sample of 179 Italian middle-school students (aged 11–15). Findings revealed an indirect association between bullying perpetration and victimization complaints through alexithymia. The search for identity in the narrative stylistic and poetic study

This dissertation deals with the quest for narrative identity in four distinct narratives: Le Premier Homme, by Albert Camus; Les Oliviers de la justice, by Jean Pélégri; Ébauche du père, by Jean Sénac; and Outremer, by Morgan Sportes. The authors of these narratives belonged to the community of French people born in Algeria and, later on, to that of the pieds-noirs. The texts examine mainly the end of French Algeria. This accounts for the reference to the years 1954-1962, among other periods of time, and to the tragic consequences these years led to, including exile and uprooting. This chapter will illustrate how an “outside-in” view of policy making may implement a balanced perspective for assessing sustainable outcomes through an integrated Dynamic Performance Management and Governance framework. In the next sections such a framework will be illustrated and applied to different examples of collaborative networks. In the remaining part of this section practical implications from an “outside-in” view of policy making will be illustrated.

In the article, the author attempts to show the role of andragogical journals in popularizing adult education in the Interwar period. Six Polish journals of nationwide circulation are characterized, as they reflected the socio-ideological profile of the state and the organizations which published them. In their columns, theoretical and methodological studies which facilitated work with adults were presented. Their major task was to support teachers and educators in their school and outside-school work with adult learners.
