Changes in the shore topography (e.g. slope) occur at a scale of hundreds of meters in several locations in the Lusitanian and the Mediterranean Sea provinces. We tested whether differences in the bottom inclination might affect the vertical distribution patterns of two sympatric coastal labrid fishes, the rainbow wrasse Coris julis and the ornate wrasse Thalassoma pavo. Geoelectrical R esistivity method is a geophysical method that can be used to determine subsurface geology based on rock resistivity image. Resistivity survey has been done in some villages, in Fak Fak Regency, West Papua Province. The measurement method that used is sounding, whereas electrode configuration used is Dipole-dipole configuration with a stretch of 100 -150 m. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Oktober sampai November 2014 di perairan Pasir Putih Kabupaten Manokwari, berlokasi di Pantai Air Salobar. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui persentase tutupan terumbu karang, kualitas fisik-kimia air dan korelasi kualitas fisik-kimia air terhadap persentase tutupan terumbu karang di bagian barat daya perairan Pasir Putih, Manokwari. Metode yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data persentase tutupan karang adalah Point Intercept Transect (PIT) pada kedalaman 3 m (Transek I), 7 m (Transek II) dan 10 m (Transek III). This chapter reviews the different conceptualizations of ‘the’ historical development of management ideas. It focuses on three approaches to the evolution of research on management ideas: (1) mainstream, (2) embedded, and (3) critical alternatives. The mainstream is the most dominant approach, both in research and in textbooks of management, while the embedded approach is increasingly popular among institutionally oriented researchers. A key suggestion is that it is also important to find and follow less researched avenues in the evolution of management ideas, such as the critical alternatives approach, drawing on forgotten and marginalized discourses. Stalin’s critique of the idea of the class character of language

Shedding light on the different Soviet linguistic approaches to the phenomenon of the class character of language, this paper shows that Stalin’s 1950 critique of Nikolaj Marr’s views echoed criticism that had already been addressed to Marr by his contemporaries. The idea of the class character of language did not amount to a single coherent theory, in Soviet linguistics, of social and linguistic structures, but in many cases remained an abstract theoretical construct. Even if some linguists manifestly subscribed to the Marrist dogma, it did not immediately follow that the idea of the class character of language had exerted significant influence on the actual analysis of language material. …
