Fostering the relationship between home and school : a case study of a senior secondary school in the Gambia

The study examines the extent to which the relationship between home and school affects students’ academic achievements. A senior secondary school in The Gambia was chosen for this study. The focus of the research was to identify and describe intentionally designed programs and practices that foster the involvement of home in school activities and its important outcomes for the stakeholders (home and school). Il saggio analizza le misure adottate, sia in ambito comunitario che interno, per dare risposta alle esigenze di conciliazione. Tali interventi sono stati caratterizzati da un’evoluzione determinata dall’affermazione del principio di condivisione egualitaria dei ruoli e delle responsabilità genitoriali all’interno della famiglia. The essay analyses the measures adopted to respond to the needs of conciliation, both at Community and national level. These interventions have been characterized by an evolution, determined by the affirmation of the principle of equitable sharing of roles and of parental responsibilities within the family.

In the present study, the chemical composition of the essential oil from aerial parts of Parentucellia latifolia (L.) Caruel collected in Central Sicily was analyzed by gas chromatography and gas chromatography–mass spectrometry. The results showed the presence of sesquiterpene hydrocarbons, with germacrene D and germacrene B accounting, respectively, for 59.2% and 24.3% of the total oil. Different colonies of bacteria and fungi frequently affect cellulosic objects such as books stored in libraries and museums. Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt saistību starp audzināšanas pieejām, vecāku un bērnu kopīgu spēlēšanos un sociālajām prasmēm 3-4 gadus veciem bērniem. Pētījuma jautājums - vai pastāv saistība starp audzināšanas pieejām, bērnu un vecāku kopīgu spēlēšanos un sociālām prasmēm 3 -4 gadus vecām meitenēm un zēniem? Pētījumā tika ievākti dati par 90 bērniem vecumā no 3 līdz 4 gadiem, no kuriem 41 bija meitene un 49 zēni, 42 bērni bija 3 gadus veci, 47 bērni bija 4 gadus veci, viens vecāks nebija norādījis bērna vecumu.
