Housing affordability problems have become more serious over the course of the last few decades and are now also affecting the middle-class, despite the fall in prices on the housing market. This study proposes a methodology to assess threshold-income as an index for measuring housing affordability by applying a combination of the ratio income and residual income approaches. Holidays play a vital role in the configuration of our life. Our most profound expectances are posed to this magic moment. However, under some contexts, what starts as a dream ends in a nightmare. It is unfortunate this is the case of victims of Villa Gesell’s tragedy, resulted when a ray impacted directly to a beach. Nobody is immune of tragedy, even at holidays. This essay review explores not only the anthropological roots of risk and paradise, but also the journalist discourse to cover the event. Far from the general opinion, disasters affect tourism, we strongly believe it strengths its attractiveness.

Bakalaura darbā tika analizēts ciešamās kārtas lietojums atkarībā no materiāliem, kas var tikt atrodami korpusos. Darba hipotēze ir tāda, ka dažādos tematos ciešamās kārtas lietojums atšķiras. Lai pārbaudītu izvirzīto hipotēzi un sasniegtu izvirzīto pētījuma mērķi, tika izpētīti rakstītie avoti un agrāk veikti pētījumi par ciešamo kārtu un tās lietojumu. AbstractRobots have been slowly but steadily introduced to welfare sectors. Our previous observations based on a large-scale survey study on Finnish elder-care workers in 2016 showed that while robots were perceived to be useful in certain telecare tasks, using robots may also prove to be incompatible with the care workers’ personal values. The current study presents the second wave of the survey data from 2020, with the same respondents (N = 190), and shows how these views have changed for the positive, including higher expectations of telecare robotization and decreased concerns over care robots’ compatibility with personal values. Creating Passionate Love Through Rational Value: A Moderated Mediation Analysis Considering Identification and Relationship Duration

This study contributes to insights of the effectiveness of identification on passionate love. But more differentiated in comparison to previous research we show direct effects of the two dimensions of identification, self-reflection and self-enhancement as important influence factors of passionate love. According to Steinberg’s (Psychol Rev 93(2):119–135, 1986) Triangular Theory of Love, love is not only triggered by emotional aspects that are beyond reason. So utilitarian attributes that are more down-to-earth and realistic namely quality value, price value, and uniqueness can be relevant drivers of love.
