Heterogeneous polymer brushes on surfaces can be easily formed from a binary initiator on a silicon oxide substrate where two different types of polymers can be grown side-by-side. Herein, we designed a new Y-shaped binary initiator using straightforward chemistry for “grafting from” polymer brushes. This initiator synthesis takes advantage of the Passerini reaction, a multicomponent reaction combining two initiator sites and one surface linking site. This Y-shaped binary initiator can be synthesized in three steps with a higher yield than other similar initiators reported in the literature, and can be performed on a multigram scale. Electrochemically induced passivation of evaporated, enriched 57Fe in 0.5 mol dm−3 Na2SO4 + 0.001 mol dm−3 NaHSO3 aqueous solution (pH 6.5) was followed by conversion electron Mossbauer spectroscopy. The transformation of amorphous iron oxide or hydroxide into crystalline γ-FeOOH could be observed with the increase of the polarization time. The comparison of the original quantity of evaporated, enriched 57Fe layer on the surface of the samples with the dissolved iron, measured in the solutions after the polarization, proved the existence of pitting corrosion at this pH.

However, the quantitative contribution of the secretion process mediated by P‐gp on the overall permeability of membranes has not been determined yet. Lähtökohdat: Lasten pienempään ylipainon ja lihavuuden riskiin yhteydessä olevasta fyysisen aktiivisuuden määrästä ja kuormittavuudesta tiedetään verrattain vähän. Tavoitteenamme oli selvittää objektiivisesti mitatun fyysisen aktiivisuuden eri kuormittavuustasojen ja fyysisen passiivisuuden määrän yhteyksiä ikä- ja sukupuolivakioidun painoindeksin keskihajontapistemäärään (BMI-SDS) ja ylipainoisuuteen 6–8-vuotiailla suomalaisilla lapsilla.
