Dark Matter Search Results from a One Ton-Year Exposure of XENON1T

We report on a search for Weakly Interacting Massive Particles (WIMPs) using 278.8 days of data collected with the XENON1T experiment at LNGS. XENON1T utilizes a liquid xenon time projection chamber with a fiducial mass of $(1.30 \pm 0.01)$ t, resulting in a 1.0 t$\times$yr exposure. The energy region of interest, [1.4, 10.6] $\mathrm{keV_{ee}}$ ([4.9, 40.9] $\mathrm{keV_{nr}}$), exhibits an ultra-low electron recoil background rate of $(82\substack{+5 \\ -3}\textrm{ (sys)}\pm3\textrm{ (stat)})$ events/$(\mathrm{t}\times\mathrm{yr}\times\mathrm{keV_{ee}})$. The paper deals with the metrological characterization of a digital wattmeter developed by using a personal computer, a shunt, two commercial data acquisition boards and commercial software. The uncertainty of the active power measurements is assessed individually characterizing the voltage channel, the current channel and the phase displacement measurement between the two channels. Šo resursu starpā ir grafikas procesori un citas PCI Express ierīces, kā arī USB ierīces. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir apzināt šo resursu koplietošanas metodes, novērtēt to lietojamību, pieejamību un sarežģītību, un salīdzināt tās savā starpā, ja tas iespējams, kā arī aprakstīt tās resursu koplietošanas metodes, kas vēl ir tikai izstrādes stadijā. Bakalaura darba “Atmiņā esošu datubāžu funkcionalitātes un veiktspējas analīze” mērķis ir izpētīt atmiņā esošu jeb in-memory datubāžu tehnoloģiju, kas pēc būtības ir datubāzes satura glabāšana operatīvajā atmiņā. Šī tehnoloģija pašos pamatos atšķiras no tradicionālās disku bāzētas datubāžu tehnoloģijas un dod lielu veiktspējas uzlabojumu. Darba uzdevumi ir izpētīt atmiņā esošu datubāžu darbību un pieejamo mūsdienu risinājumu funkcionalitāti, kā arī izveidot TPC-C etalonuzdevumu, lai varētu novērtēt veiktspēju.
