Abstract Lomitapide, a drug for the treatment of homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia patients, reduced total and LDL cholesterol but no significant changes were observed on PCSK9 and Lp(a) plasma levels. Some changes of inflammatory mediators were also observed, including hsCRP, which may suggest an anti-inflammatory effect.

Aim: The aim of this study was to determine the frequency of two important pathogenic microorganisms associated with endodontic infections, Enterococcus faecalis and Candida albicans, in root canal samples from patients with necrotic pulps or failed canal therapy by polymerase chain reaction method. Method: Microbial samples were obtained from 117 teeth with necrotic pulp tissues and 114 teeth with failed endodontic treatment. Results: E.faecalis were identified in 16% of the necrotic and 10% of the retreated root canal infections by PCR. La cromatina es una compleja estructura compuesta por DNA, RNA y proteínas, que permite compactar el genoma en las células eucariotas. Siendo el cromosoma el nivel más alto de compactación y el nucleosoma la subunidad fundamental de la misma. El nucleosoma está compuesto por un octámero de histonas, siendo H2A, H2B, H3 y H4 las canónicas. Este octámero se encuentra envuelto por 147 pb de DNA doble cadena. Sin embargo, son pocas las investigaciones orientadas a saber qué contenidos se enseñan, cómo lo hacen, qué aprende el alumnado… en la etapa de educación infantil. En este trabajo estudiamos la percepción que tienen los futuros maestros sobre la enseñanza de las ciencias que se realiza en las aulas de segundo ciclo de esta etapa. A partir de sus vivencias en las prácticas de enseñanza, unos estudiantes del Grado de Educación Infantil han respondido a un cuestionario elaborado para conocer mejor la realidad educativa que estamos estudiando.
