Introduzione. In questo studio è stato preso in considerazione il consumo annuale di stupefacenti (metadone e buprenorfina) dal 2009 al 2012, da parte del Ser.T di Termini Imerese. Si è voluto indagare sulla tipologia di pazienti ambulatoriali per avviare un successivo progetto di prevenzione rivolto alle scuole. Grapefruit IntegroPectin isolation via spray drying and via freeze drying: A comparison

The comparison of grapefruit IntegroPectin powders isolated via spray drying and via freeze drying in terms of phenolic content, quantification of the most representative flavonoids (naringin and hesperidin), radical scavenging activity, total protein content and pH of the aqueous solutions provides relevant information. Except for the protein content and the antioxidant power, the two drying methods afford similar pectins. Optimization of the spray drying parameters allowed to maximize the yield of isolated pectin that nearly approached (>95%) the quantitative yield obtained via freeze drying.

Freeze drying versus Spray drying to obtain Grapefruit IntegroPectin powder

Background: IntegroPectin is a new family of citrus pectins of broad biological activity obtained via hydrodynamic cavitation of citrus biowaste carried out in water only. These pectins have already been isolated by freeze drying, a time-consuming and expensive procedure difficult to be scaled up. In un quadro di riferimento in cui la crisi è globalizzata ma diseguale e in mancanza di un sistema di welfare capace di rispondere alle urgenze dei contesti e dei gruppi sociali più marginalizzati, una risposta ai nuovi bisogni sociali ed individuali è stata offerta da reti solidali e da pratiche di mobilitazione dal basso che svolgono un ruolo di agency territoriale, spesso indipendentemente o in assenza di Istituzioni. Settore ICAR/21 - UrbanisticaIn a framework in which the crisis is globalized but unequal and in the absence of a welfare system capable of responding to the urgencies of the most marginalized contexts and social groups a response to the new social and individual needs has been offered by networks of solidarity and from bottom-up mobilization practices that play a role of territorial agency often independently or in the absence of institutions. In the Palermo context a commitment made by a plurality of cultural subjects already active in the area gathered in a public assembly (Palermo si cura) during the period of the first lockdown gave rise to mutual aid actions to respond to the economic emergency and social and offer a proposal to cure the fragility of the city based not on charity but on the claim of a political dimension of collective action. Starting from the analysis of initiatives such as "Un sorriso per Ballarò" and "Abbiamo un (bi)sogno" the contribution analyzes the role the incidence and the fragility of these experiences in providing answers - often filling gaps - to a general interest and how these processes of value creation can hopefully contribute to the construction of local government policies capable of addressing emerging issues.

Il Report analizza il sistema penale spagnolo attraverso la disciplina di contrasto a quattro diversi traffici: favoreggiamento dell'immigrazione clandestina, tratta di esseri umani, traffico di stupefacenti e contrabbando di sigarette. Crossmodal correspondences between typefaces and food preferences drive congruent choices but not among young consumers

Abstract Several studies suggest that consumers match stimuli across sensory modalities, with angular (vs. round) typefaces typically associated with sourness (vs. sweetness). Drawing on findings from the field of crossmodal correspondences, this study (N = 220) examined potential typeface effects in naturalistic settings and found that exposure to angular (vs. round) typeface increased (decreased) consumers’ preferences for sour (sweet) food but had no impact on their expectations or perceptions of these tastes. The trophic structure of the pipefish community (Pisces: Syngnathidae) from a western Mediterranean seagrass meadow based on stable isotope analysis

Syngnathus abaster andSyngnathus typhle (Pisces: Syngnathidae) from a dense Cymodocea nodesa meadow in the western Mediterranean Stagnone di Marsala (Italy) were studied using δ13N and δ15N analysis.
