La crucifixion dans les peintures murales carolingiennes dans l'Europe latine chrétienne et sur ses marges (IXè - début du XIème siècle)
2015
This Dissertation focuses on the iconography of the Crucifixion in the Carolingian mural painting between the 9th and the beginning of the 11th century. Pivot in the Christian thought with its dogmatic scope, the Crucifixion remains however poorly represented in the Latin West until the middle of the 8th century. Actually, the Carolingian period is a decisive turning point when the Crucifixion displays gradually on all the supports and through different technics, at the same time as the iconography tends to be crystallized. Based on a documentation composed of thirteen decorations painted between the 9th and the beginning of the 11th century and distributed in the former limits of the Carol…

Influence of annealing conditions on the photoelectrocatalytic performance of WO3 nanostructures
2020
[EN] Nanostructured WO3 photoanodes have been synthesized by electrochemical anodization under controlled hydrodynamic conditions in acidic media in the presence of 0.05 M H2O2. Subsequently, samples have been subjected to a thermal treatment (annealing) at different temperatures (400 degrees C, 500 degrees C and 600 degrees C) and under different gaseous atmospheres (air, N-2, Ar). The influence of these annealing conditions on the morphology, crystallinity, photoelectrochemical behavior and dopant chemistry of the different photoanodes has been investigated through Electronic Microscopy, Raman Spectroscopy, Photoelectrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy and Mott-Schottky analysis. In general…

High-resolution spectroscopy of gaseous $^\mathrm{83m}$Kr conversion electrons with the KATRIN experiment
2020
In this work, we present the first spectroscopic measurements of conversion electrons originating from the decay of metastable gaseous $^\mathrm{83m}$Kr with the Karlsruhe Tritium Neutrino (KATRIN) experiment. The results obtained in this calibration measurement represent a major commissioning milestone for the upcoming direct neutrino mass measurement with KATRIN. The successful campaign demonstrates the functionalities of the full KATRIN beamline. The KATRIN main spectrometer's excellent energy resolution of ~ 1 eV made it possible to determine the narrow K-32 and L$_3$-32 conversion electron line widths with an unprecedented precision of ~ 1 %.
A CONFIGURAÇÃO INOVADORA DO PRINCÍPIO DA BOA ADMINISTRAÇÃO ENTRE PRIVADOS E AUTORIDADES PÚBLICAS NA UNIÃO EUROPÉIA
2017
Effect of storage on quality parameters and phenolic content of Italian extra-virgin olive oils
2019
The quality of extra virgin olive oils is affected mainly by hydrolytic and oxidative reactions. The present paper investigated the changes of major and minor components and oxidation indices of three monovarietal extra virgin olive oils after 18 months of storage at room temperature and in dark glass bottles conditions. After storage, the basic quality parameters such as free acidity, peroxide values, extinction coefficients, fatty acids composition, chlorophyll and carotenoid content, did not exceed the upper limits set by European Community Regulations for extra-virgin olive oils. Given the importance of the phenolic fraction, UHPLC-HESI-MS metodology was used. A decrease in 3,4-DHPEA-ED…
Effects of Oleuropein on colon cancer progression in vitro. A preliminary report
2019
Introduction. Accumulating evidence highlights that Oleuropein (OLE), one of the main bioactive phenolic compound present in olives, olive oil and olive leaves, appears to exert chemo-preventive effects against several human malignancies including gastrointestinal tumors. As the cellular mechanisms underlying this phenomenon are still not fully elucidated, we have undertaken some in vitro studies to examine the effects of OLE on the growth, adhesion and invasion of HTC116 and SW480 human colon cancer cells and the influence of this molecule on the production of certain proteins that appear to be relevant to cancer progression namely, matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2), matrix metalloprotein…
