The impacts of long-term use of telepresence robots in residential care are not well known. Tässä tutkimuksessa selvitettiin muistisairaiden ihmisten arkea tukevan teknologian käyttöönottoa ja heidän sekä heidän läheistensä kokemuksia teknologian käytöstä. Tutkimuksen viitekehyksenä toimi Lawtonin ekologinen malli. Tutkimuksessa käytettiin etnografista näkökulmaa haastattelemalla ja havainnoimalla muistisairaita ihmisiä teknologian käyttötilanteissa. Hay indicios de que la fatiga, uno de los principales efectos de la conducción prolongada, es más notable en mayores. El presente artículo recoge un estudio sobre el efecto de la conducción prolongada utilizando un simulador, en un grupo de sujetos mayores de 55 años. Los sujetos fueron evaluados médica y psicológicamente antes y después de la prueba de conducción. Se aplicaron las pruebas médicas de tensión arterial, pulso y saturación de oxígeno en sangre y como prueba psicológica, el Driver-Test. Purpose: The purpose of the present study was to investigate changes in physical fitness and anthropometry of young men entering the military service in Finland during the years 1975–2015. Methods: The study included the fitness test results of 627,142 healthy young male conscripts (age 19.1 T 0.4 yr). Data included results of aerobic capacity, muscle fitness tests, and anthropometric characteristics. Results: The results show that the increase in mean body mass of young men has slowed down during the last 10 yr. In particular, scarcity of exercise appears to be the principal reason of aging-related spinal dysfunction syndrome, which is characterized by adaptive shortening of soft tissue and a partial loss of range of spinal motion (1).
