African cichlid fishes are prime model systems to address speciation-related questions for their remarkable taxonomic and phenotypic diversity, and the possible role of gene flow in this process. Nieru šūnu karcinoma ir viens no visbiežākajiem ļaundabīgajiem nieru audzējiem. Agrīnajās stadijās nieru šūnu karcinomai nav raksturīga kāda konkrēta simptomātika un lielākajā daļā gadījumu, tā tiek diagnosticēta netīši- veicot izmeklējumus kādas citas saslimšanas gadījumā. Pēc tam, kad audzējs ir ticis diagnosticēts, ir būtiski izvērtēt pacienta vispārējo stāvokli un riska faktorus, no kā ir atkarīga pacientu kopējā dzīvildze un recidīva risks. Esta tesis doctoral está compuesta de cuatro estudios, uno transversal y tres longitudinales. Una muestra representativa de 3.095 adolescentes españoles, de 12 a 18 años, fue encuestada en el estudio transversal. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar el carácter predictivo de ciertas variables relacionadas con la salud y otras variables sociodemográficas sobre la actividad física moderada-vigorosa y el uso de medios tecnológicos de pantalla en adolescentes. Assessment of pahs and selected pesticides in shallow groundwater in the highest protected areas in the Opole region, Poland

The ground water quality was determined after the analyses of water samples from 18 wells. The wells were in the Groundwater Area with the Highest Protection (Triassic water, Opole region, Poland), rural build up. The water table level was low: 0.5 – 18.0 m below the ground surface level (except for one artesian well). The following parameters were determined: pH, EC, colour, ammonium, nitrite, nitrate, dissolved orthophosphate, total phosphorus, dissolved oxygen, BOD, COD-Mn, COD-Cr, humic substances, chloride, sulphate, total hardness, alkalinity, dry residue PAHs (16 compounds), pesticides (6 compounds), however, only selected data were presented in this paper. Luonnossa isännät altistuvat usein monille loislajeille sekä niiden genotyypeille. Altistuminen tapahtuu usein eri aikaan johtuen loisinnan ajallisesta ja paikallisesta vaihtelusta, minkä seurauksena loisia vastaan kehittyvät immuunivasteet syntyvät vaiheittaisesti. Loiset voivat vaikuttaa toisiinsa suoraan kilpailemalla elintilasta tai resursseista, tai epäsuorasti isännän immuunijärjestelmän kautta. Kahden loisgenotyypin yhtäaikaisen tartunnan on aiemmissa tutkimuksissa havaittu kuormittavan isännän immuunijärjestelmää niin, että kummankin genotyypin tartuntamenestys on tällöin korkeampi.
