Nestling growth and mortality of Pied Flycatchers Ficedula hypoleuca in relation to weather and breeding effort

The growth pattern and mortality of young Pied Flycatchers Ficedula hypoleuca were studied to focus on the mechanisms and constraints behind the widely studied optimization of clutch size. The clutch sizes were modified, and the growth and survival of chicks from different clutch sizes were monitored along with the prevailing weather during the nestling period to detect the effect of weather on reproductive success. The weather conditions during the feeding period of the nestlings varied within a season as well as between breeding seasons. Abstract The occurrence of articulated seafloor morphology over continental shelf-upper slope environments, may result in a significant change in the patterns and intensity of basin-scale thermohaline circulation during eustatic sea-level fluctuations. These changes may cause, in turn, erosion, deposition and/or transport of sediments at the seafloor, to form shallow-water contourite drifts. Vizuālās atgādnes angļu valodas B1 līmeņa skolēniem individuāli pielāgota mācīšanās tempa atbalstam

Kompetencēs balstīta izglītība pieprasa ņemt vērā daudzveidīgo skolēnu vajadzību un iepriekšējo zināšanu bāzi. Ir skaidrs, ka skolēni sasniedz prasmju meistarību atšķirīgos ātrumos. Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt, kā individuāli pielāgotu mācīšanās tempu var sekmēt ar vizuālo atgādņu izmantošanu B1 līmeņa angļu valodas apguvē. Darbības pētījums tika īstenots caur vairākkārtējiem vizuālo atgādņu uzlabojumiem, ņemot vērā skolēnu un skolotāju sniegto atgriezenisko saiti. Pētījums apstiprināja, ka vizuālās atgādnes ietekmē skolotāja kompetenci vadīt mācību stundas, nodrošinot individuāli pielāgota mācību tempa atbalstu. Vuonna 2016 käyttöön otetuissa perusopetuksen opetussuunnitelman perusteissa osa B1-oppimäärän ruotsin kielen opetuksesta siirtyi yläluokilta alaluokille. Toisen kotimaisen kielen, ruotsin, keskipitkän oppimäärän opiskelu aloitetaan nykyisin jo kuudennella vuosiluokalla. Tämän muutoksen osana myös luokanopettajien opetustehtäviin tuli mukaan ruotsin kielen opettaminen. Ruotsin kieltä voi siis opiskelun alkaessa opettaa alaluokilla sekä luokanopettaja että ruotsin kielen aineenopettaja. Myös kielikylpykoulutuksen koulutusohjelman suorittanut opettaja on kelpoinen opettamaan ruotsin kieltä. Ruotsin kielen opetus siirtyi alkamaan 6. luokalta uuden perusopetuksen opetussuunnitelman myötä. Keskustelua ovat aiheuttaneet esimerkiksi tuntijako, opettajien kielitaito ja ruotsin opetuksen pedagogiikka alakoulussa. Artikkelissa käsitellään Aikuis- ja täydennyskoulutuspalvelut AIKOPAn järjestämää opettajien täydennyskoulutusta, jossa pyrittiin parantamaan ruotsia opettavien aineenhallintaa ja pedagogista osaamista. We studied the relationship between temperature and the coexistence of great tit Parus major and blue tit Cyanistes caeruleus, breeding in 75 study plots across Europe and North Africa. We expected an advance in laying date and a reduction in clutch size during warmer springs as a general response to climate warming and a delay in laying date and a reduction in clutch size during warmer winters due to density-dependent effects. As expected, as spring temperature increases laying date advances and as winter temperature increases clutch size is reduced in both species.
