Lectotypification of the names of two species of Fumana ( Cistaceae )

The names Cistus ericoides Cav. and C. laevis Cav. are typified. These names apply to two species, currently classified within the genus Fumana (Dunal) Spach, but the names have been frequently misapplied and both of thempose typification problems. The type specimen of the first has not been found. Thus an illustration is chosen as type and an epitype designated. The original material of C. laevis comprises a mixture of two different species. One element is selected to clarify the application of this binomial.

The name Galatella sorrentinoi Todaro (Asteraceae) is lectotypified with a specimen housed in the Herbarium Mediterraneum Panormitanum (PAL). The specimen selected as the lectotype agrees with protologue and with the current usage of the name.

Relative radiometric normalization (RRN) is important for pre-processing and analyzing multitemporal remote sensing (RS) images. Multitemporal RS images usually include different land use/land cover (LULC) types; therefore, considering an identical linear relationship during RRN modeling may result in potential errors in the RRN results. To resolve this issue, we proposed a new automatic RRN technique that efficiently selects the clustered pseudo-invariant features (PIFs) through a coarse-to-fine strategy and uses them in a fusion-based RRN modeling approach.
