Multiple mini-interviews as a selection tool for initial teacher education admissions

This study investigates the reliability of multiple mini interviews (MMIs) to select students for classroom and special education teacher programs (n = 418) using intraclass correlations and cross-classified multilevel modeling. The results indicated mostly small effects of clustering of applicants to different interviewers and five-station circuits. The largest variance components in the MMI total score were for applicants (63.3%) and measurement error (20.6%), while the variance component for the interviewer was relatively small (11.6–14.4%). The Radó–Kneser–Choquet theorem for $p$-harmonic mappings between Riemannian surfaces

In the planar setting the Rad\'o-Kneser-Choquet theorem states that a harmonic map from the unit disk onto a Jordan domain bounded by a convex curve is a diffeomorphism provided that the boundary mapping is a homeomorphism. We prove the injectivity criterion of Rad\'o-Kneser-Choquet for $p$-harmonic mappings between Riemannian surfaces. In our proof of the injecticity criterion we approximate the $p$-harmonic map with auxiliary mappings that solve uniformly elliptic systems. We prove that each auxiliary mapping has a positive Jacobian by a homotopy argument. Ģenētiskā daudzveidība ir sugu aizsardzībā svarīgs parametrs, kas raksturo populāciju izdzīvošanas spēju. Darba mērķis bija raksturot Eiropas kokvaržu sugu kompleksa ģenētisko daudzveidību, diferencēt Latvijā reintroducētās kokvardes sugu un noteikt tās ģenētisko daudzveidību. Sistemātiskās literatūras analīzē tika apkopotas biežāk izmantotās metodes ģenētiskās daudzveidības analīzē un izveidots sistemātisks literatūras pārskats par Eiropas kokvaržu ģenētisko daudzveidību. In questo lavoro si discute di una particolare “collezione” di corpi di ecclesiastici, mummifcati ed esposti in un comune montano madonita della Sicilia, Gangi. I corpi, principalmente risalenti al XIX secolo, mummifcati per colatura come nella tradizione del tempo e vestiti degli abiti talari, sono esposti nel piano sottostante della Chiesa Madre, in quella che nella tradizione è detta la “fossa dei parrini” (fossa dei preti).
