Proces modernizacji polskiej armii jest jednym z najdłużej trwających procesów polityczno-militarno-społecznych w Polsce. Czas trwania, wielokrotne zmiany koncepcji planów modernizacyjnych Wojska Polskiego, przetasowania na polskiej scenie politycznej – wszystkie te czynniki miały niebagatelny wpływ na czas, jakość i koszty samego procesu modernizacji, który z tychże powodów trwa do dnia dzisiejszego. Celem artykułu jest przybliżenie czytelnikowi najważniejszych szans i zagrożeń wynikających z zmodernizowanego Panu Modernizacji Technicznej Wojska Polskiego.

Propolis is known as a source of compounds with strong antibacterial activity. Due to the antibacterial effect against streptococci of the oral cavity, it seems to be a useful agent in decreasing the accumulation of dental plaque. It is rich in polyphenols which are responsible for a beneficial impact on the oral microbiota and antibacterial effect. The aim of the study was to evaluate the antibacterial effect of Polish propolis against cariogenic bacteria. This review aims to analyze propolis as a potential raw material for the development and manufacture of new health-promoting products. Many scientific publications were retrieved from the Scopus, PubMed, and Google Scholar databases via searching the word "propolis". The different extraction procedures, key biologically active compounds, biological properties, and therapeutic potential of propolis were analyzed. Delayed contact sensitivity on the lips and oral mucosa due to propolis-case report

We report a rare case of a patient who was referred to the Department of Oral medicine in Zagreb, Croatia. The patient was 20 years old, otherwise healthy and not taking any medication. She presented with irregular erosions partially covered with pseudomembranes that involved both lips and retrocomissural mucosa. Discrete erosion was also noticed on her lower lingual gingiva in the area 42. She reported a propolis solution self-medication for treatment of recurrent aphthous ulcers. After ten days of propolis application, lip and oral lesions developed. Patch test to propolis was proven. Analizie poddano najważniejsze tytuły prasy emigracyjnej ukazującej się Wielkiej Brytanii, która była centrum politycznym wychodźstwa oraz we Francji. Wybór Polaka na papieża środowiska emigracyjne uznały powszechnie za wydarzenie historyczne. Niektórzy porównywali je nawet do chrztu Polski. Artykuł przedstawia tzw. metrykę nacji polskiej na Uniwersytecie Padewskim, przechowywaną w Archiwum Historycznym Uniwersytetu Padewskiego.
