Bakalaura darba “Somu valodas verba “laskea” polisēmijas skaidrojums kognitīvajā lingvistikā” mērķis ir noskaidrot “laskea” verba nozīmju semantiskās attiecības saskaņā ar kognitīvo lingvistiku. Darba pirmajā daļā ir apkopota teorētiskā literatūra par polisēmiju kognitīvajā skatījumā. Teorētiskajā daļā sniegts vispārīgs ieskats par kategorizāciju, prototipu pieeju un polisēmiju kognitīvajā semantikā. Ir apskatīts polisēmijas un homonīmijas nošķiršanas jautājums, polisēmijas atspoguļošanas iespējas, kā arī jaunu vārda nozīmju rašanās iespējas ar metaforu un metonīmijas palīdzību. De la perception de la voyelle /y/ chez des apprenants polonais du français langue étrangère

International audience; The main objective of this study is to test the perception of the vowel /y/ among the Polish learners of FLE, as it does not exist in their natural vowel system. We defend the hypothesis that optimal perception conditions can make the identification and acquisition of new sounds more intelligible.; L'objectif principal de cette étude est de tester la perception de la voyelle /y/ chez des apprenants polonais du FLE, celle-ci n'existant pas, en effet, dans leur système vocalique naturel. Nous défendons l'hypothèse selon laquelle des conditions de perception optimales peuvent rendre plus nettes, plus intelligibles, la perception et l'acquisition de sons nouveaux.

The present article focuses on Polish motifs in Sofya Kovalevskaya’s recollections. Kovalevskaya was a great 19th century Russian mathematician whose contributions were acknowledged throughout Europę during her lifetime. She was the first European woman to receive a doctorate in mathematics from the University of Gottingen, a professor at Stockholm University in Sweden, and the first female corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Besides her scientific activities, Kovalevskaya was also a writer and publicist. She is the author of a number of novels, poems, a play and autobiographical Recollections of Childhood. The article is a tentative analysis of the word-forming potential for Polish not only onomatopoeic verbs. As the input material for analysis, the author selected 84 word-forming nests of verbs, taken from Słownik gniazd słowotwórczych współczesnego języka ogólnopolskiego (Kraków 2004). The selected verbs are the base for nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs. The derived nouns and verbs were divided into 23 semantic classes. This article is about language used in menus. The recently changing approach to cooking and eating is also reflected in language that describes food. Restaurant menus are a clear example of this. It is because eating, i. e. experiencing the taste of dishes, does not only take using our tongue, but it also involves using language. Some restaurant owners are aware of the relationship between taste and word, which is reflected in the way some dishes are described in menu cards offered to customers. The purpose of the article is to analyse menus of selected restaurants and to show some linguistic tricks used by restaurant owners to encourage customers to eat in their restaurants.
