Cilvēka ķermeņa novecošanās mehānismi nav pilnībā izprotami, taču pēc 40 gadu vecuma cilvēka organismā sākas neatgriezeniski novecošanās procesi. Pārejas jeb premenopauzes laikā ķermenis sāk savādāk izmantot enerģiju. Samazinās sieviešu hormona estrogēna ražošana, kas ir iesaistīts ļoti daudzos dažādos procesos. Daudzām sievietēm šis vecuma intervāls saistīts ar nopietnu veselības problēmu parādīšanos. Installée sur le flanc sud-ouest du plateau de Lacau, cette occupation de bas de pente se caractérise par quelques aménagements fossoyés associés à des structures de combustion. Young stars show a variety of highly energetic phenomena, from accretion and outflow processes to hot coronal plasmas confined in their outer atmosphere, all regulated by the intense stellar magnetic fields. Many aspects on each of these phenomena are debated, but, most notably, their complex mutual interaction remains obscure. In this work I report how these phenomena are simultaneously responsible for the high-energy emission from young stars, with a special focus on the expected and observed variability in the X-ray band. Aim The absence of reliable single serum biomarkers for oral premalignant lesion (OPL) and oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) limits early diagnosis, monitoring of advanced disease, and prediction of prognosis. Methods In this prospective study, serum levels of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-2, MMP-3, MMP-13, insulin-like growth factor (IGF)-1, and IGF-binding protein (IGFBP)-3 were measured in 81 untreated OSCC patients, 49 healthy subjects, and 75 individuals with OPLs, and correlated with clinicopathological parameters. La terapia con surfactante forma parte de la práctica habitual en el manejo del distrés respiratorio en el recién nacido. Su administración ha sido tradicionalmente mediante intubación endotraqueal. Con el fin de minimizar el tiempo de intubación y ventilación mecánica se diseñó la estrategia INSURE (intubación, administración de surfactante y extubación), disminuyendo la posible exposición a la ventilación mecánica. En los últimos años se han investigado nuevas técnicas de administración de surfactante menos invasivas con el objetivo de minimizar los efectos de la intubación traqueal y evitar la aplicación de la ventilación mecánica.
