Implementing a new pedagogy in the nursing curriculum: Bachelor students’ evaluation

Background: Inspired by the work of Benner and colleagues at Carnegie Foundation, a new course in nursing was implemented in the first study year’s curriculum in the bachelor program in nursing. The new nursing course included a shift from a lecture-only classroom based approach to a problem-based and case-based approach. Reflections and discussions in groups with fellow students and supervisors was the main activity. This chapter conceptualizes the process of school burnout, dropout and school engagement in the context of the school demands-resources model, analogous to the job demands-resources model applied in the work and health research area. Dropout from school could be viewed as one of the consequences of the burnout process. Association between climate and new daily diagnoses of COVID-19

The purpose of this paper is to develop a framework for performance indicators to measure and improve crisis communication preparedness of public authorities. Such an instrument supporting organizational learning has not yet been developed for crisis communication.
