Cuestión de rentabilidad, tamaño y estructura de propiedad=The Fall of Spanish Savings Banks. Question of…

2012

Study on the financial performance of companies operating in the pharmaceutical industry in romania

2016

Abstract The study aims at determining the financial performance of companies in the pharmaceutical industry between 2009 and 2014 by means of the indicator of the financial return rate, using multiple linear regressions as research method. By analysing the evolution of the share of companies in the pharmaceutical industry based on the trend of the financial rate of return, we can estimate that the number of entities that resort to supporting the financial activities from loans and liabilities is growing in the period under analysis. This is due mainly to the liquidity crisis faced by entities, as a result of the high recovery duration of debts. Also, using the multiple linear regression we…

2015

The relationship between different rates of liquidity and profitability, is one of the most popular topics of research in the financial management field. In order to demonstrate the correlation between these variables, we used the statistical program SPSS. The analyzed societies are: Zentiva, Biofarm and Antibiotice Iasi, listed at the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The research leads to the conclusion that all the societies have sufficient liquidity to cover the payment obligations. Also, using the Pearson correlation coefficient, we demonstrated the fact that the liquidity is one of the indicators that determine the profitability of the analyzed societies.

La reputación como ventaja competitiva sostenible

2019

Ground-Mounted Photovoltaic and Crop Cultivation: A Comparative Analysis

2022

Human civilization depends on energy sources, mainly fossil fuels. An increase in the prices of fossil fuels and their exhaustibility limit economic growth. Carbon dioxide emission causes global environmental problems. Global crises (including COVID-19) have sharpened food and energy supply problems. The decentralized energy supply systems as well as the expedition of the application of renewable energy may solve these challenges. The economic shift to renewable power generation intensifies the competition between food crop production and green energy for land. This paper applied an open-source spatial-based model to quantify the solar power generation (the ground-mounted photovoltaic panel…

Economic Sustainability of Italian Greenhouse Cherry Tomato

2014

Greenhouse tomato cultivation plays an important role in Sicily, being the primary production area in Italy, due to its favorable pedo-climatic conditions that permit extra-seasonal productions. In Sicily, more than half of greenhouse tomato production is derived from the Province of Ragusa on the southeastern coast, where especially cherry tomato typologies are cultivated. Over the last decade, the Ragusa Province has registered a decrease both in terms of greenhouse tomato area and harvested production due to several structural problems that would require restructuring of the tomato supply chain. Thus, since recognition of real costs and profitability of tomato growing is a vital issue, b…
